This maybe a totaly stupid question but i thought that suddenly going against a contract ie the 'entry fee for x ball is 3000' was totaly illegal. I mean going back to the car analergy if you were told that a car cost £3000 and you paid this cash upfront and then upon arrival you were told that you could not drive the car home unless you paid another £3000 i think trading standards would want to know about it.
I aint a lawyer or anything so could be total crap but just a thought

Clue me in...

$3k (Euros, not dollars, I know, but I've got an american keyboard and theyr'e pretty close anyway) for shirts...? Eh?

Are these shirts made of gold?

I got 12 X-Ball teams' worth of jersies for $5k over here...

I get the feeling I'm missing something.

Chris, Laurent told me when this stooopid jersey idea came up a few months ago, that teams could buy them at 30 Euros ($) and then go on to sell it at a profit and this was his justification for doing it.

Now if it's really that good an idea as Laurent suggested then I suggest all the teams shove their jerseys back up Laurent's ass and tell him he can sell them and can have all the profits.

It would seem that all the Millennium board knew about this but did not tell any of the teams....I wonder why

So...

You were each supposed to buy 100 jersies and resell them?

That seems... uhm... strange.

I'm not sure Dynasty could move 100 dynasty jersies in the US. It's not like basketball or football where you're going to wear some sponsor-laden jersey in public. Unless it's halloween and you're going as a motocross rider. ;)

Shamrock, Manfred is one of the few guys on that board, along with Magued, that I trust but I have just been told by Pete Martin they both knew as he has spoken to them about this while he is out there in Portugal, so even I am confused now:confused:
So it beggars the questions :-
Who knew and why the secrecy ?
I think I can work out the answer to the last question but I just wonder who actually knew what was going down come Portugal.

Just as you think things can't get any worse for the Millennium Muppets, they surprise us yet again with their propensity for self-inflicted disatsters.
