Think your coming away from the point there Gurney, fair enough if you were sweet spotting a lane you would have more chance of hitting the guy on the run if you had a marker with a higher ROF (thats if your actually hitting the higher ROF). A lot of people think they are fireing a lot quicker than they actually are

Think the point is that if you someone who hasn't ever played before, or is very limited in experience goes out and buys an e-blade he thinks it will make him a better player than say if he had a spyder even though he has no basic grasp of the fundamentals

Paintball is no different to any other sport in that respect.

Good kit helps but ONLY if you have game in the first place... good kit will not give you game.

I have an old standard Impy and I just love it. I think you gotta be happy with what you got first, If you are comftable with it it can boost your on field performance,

If you think it is a good marker you play better.

Not saying this gives you game but just saying you play a bit harder because you think the marker is good. Of course you have to train and play and do tourneys to improve but nice kit makes you feel good. Why do you think so many people on these boards (inc. me) are always looking for a new marker, selling an old one or want to know what another is like.

Game can be enhanced by nice kit but on field the true game will show it self against the opposition

i 2nd this, for the first 2 legs of the m25 league i had to borrow my marker as it was being serviced by belsales, at the 3rd leg, i got it back finally...all lovely and i play back, and hung the flag at least 3 times that day and some of my team even bowed down to me i was playing so well

tis true, but do you reckon these players with no game and yet all the kit realise the value of money. We probably get more satisfaction out of our kit than they do coz we've earned the dollars to buy it. Tis a sad world. They could give that money to ppl who really need it. e.g. really sick and ill ppl. The worlds an imbalanced place my friends......
