First of all i would on behalf of my team, say thank you, to all that have given us credit for our victory in Marseille, both on the field, players party & her at the forums. We had an incredible time in Marseille, and everyone agreed that this was one of the best events so far.
Unfortunately i did`nt see any games in the lower divisions, so my post is from a CL view.
The location was beautiful, with the field about 10 meters from the sea.
And that especially since the weather was nice all weekend long. When we got back to Norway it was snowing, and still 1 meter with snow on the ground :(
The format was good (except for some small things, like when the clock was running out, and the teams where even in score.)
The reffing was good and pretty concistant. And in total better than we are used too. (Can always comment on something, but not now:rolleyes: )
The CL teams was all good ambassadors on the field, as far as i could see.
It was pretty much on schedule (except for the first day, when the wind had done its job)
The athmosphere during the finals were fantastic! Since we where in France playing TonTon, we thought it would be mostly chearing for them, but it was like 50/50 and it was awesome beeing at the field. The crowd went nuts, and we really appreciate it.

We had some good games during the quarter- & semifinals against both Ignition & Shockwave, so big thanks to them too.

Looking at TonTon during the weekend they played really impressive, and i have to give credit to the "local" players like Franky Mouren, Tavarez, Ptit Mat & Loic Voulot (forgive me if i forgot somebody) they played real good paintball, and to top that of with Fred, Rob and Tyler from Trauma gives a good & agressive team that definately would be up there all this season.
But lucky for us, this one belonged to Norway & Scandinavia (On time)

Hopefully (and we`ll do our best) we will be there with them, and we are looking forward to the rest of the season, where all the teams will be there bringing their best, and the Millenium promotors trying to top this one :)

PS! We`re really happy we proved Nick wrong :D , about us needing time to adapt to the format.. Thanks again Nick, hehe

Well, nuff said (to quote a big bald guy), now lets sit back and enjoy for about 3 weeks....
See you all in Bitburg

Some of the rules were so ridiculous its not even funny! No stickers on goggles as they may give you an advantage with getting bounces from them, you having a laugh? Or you can peel the sticker off in a game and lose the hit? Ok then ill sit there for 20 minutes trying to get the fookers off (that’s how long it took me to get some of the stickers off my goggles and hopper) Might as well turn up in a suit and tie at Bitberg, will save a lot of grief.

I think a lot of the marshals were on power trips, looking to give out 141’s rather than doing their job. I saw some players getting 141d before they even made their primary on the break yet on other fields no penalties were given to players with hits in self check areas still playing. Because the marshalling was so inconsistent it was crap, the 141 rules is good if you have the marshal to enforce it, which the Millennium Series don’t! A head marshal even turned round to my captain and admitted he didn’t know the rules to a specific case we where appealing against and said he left his rulebook in the hotel! If this is what the millennium series have in store for us then god help us for the rest of the year. I even saw some very harsh 141 calls on the M5 field against some little kids, no need for it! I understand marshalling can be very hard, yes I have done it before but the level of marshalling has down from last year. I watched a few games on the JT field and I don’t think the marshals moved from the netting.

As for the event I think the venue was beautiful, great site and fields. Shame about the wind and Marseille being a bit of a ghetto but look beyond that and it was great. Food was awesome offering not just fatty fast food but healthy options too and at great prices, M7 was great to watch. Well done to menace, you deserved the win so much, you played your hearts out and worked so hard for it

Some clever monkey is going to, or alreday has, developed stickers for just this purpose. Probably a complete tear off with sponsors logo's on that comes off in one pull with an exact copy on underneath.

Now where has this been dicussed before......Mmmm i wonder
Getting 1-4-1nd on the break sucks. With a mini computer in markers, why not have a delay that allows the gun/hopper to work 2 secs after game on. just a thought.

Terrible idea dude - you remove all the exitement of the breakout and the need to plan it out.... and everyone will be at the 50s off the break..... might as well start players in their bunkers then.

This whole thing is - hopefully - just a question of refs being TOO focussed on a new rule - and that should change already for Bitburg.... same happened when they introduced the "hand on the head" rule last year.
