1.
y dont the PA make a rule that only allow factory board and chips in the markers that are goin to be used for example you have to hand your marker and other spare markers that you might need to use into the techs a week b4 the tournie and you get them handed back to you at the tournie when you sign in and if there is a violation the gun is confiscated and wil not be allowed to be used in the tournament and a fee will have to be paid to get your marker back at the end of the tournament and you will have to change your board to be allowed to play in the next tournament.
2.
names of violators will be kept and if you violate more than say 3 times then you will banned for that tournament and the one after it.

jus a thought and i think people will not want to pay fees just so they can cheat.

just a thought remember so plz dont engulf me in abuse.
:D
are you for real,do have any idea what problems this could/would create, not to mention cost

tbh i dont mind the current system, the stupidly bouncy guns get cought by marshalls,
Your ability to completely miss the point is impressive, I'll grant you that...

Chris you are saying their isnt an answer but we should find one anyway???

How does that work???

Superfly,
Would you be happy if you were banned for a year because your gun was bouncing and giving you free shots.

What if it was because a little peice of shell had found its way inside your trigger in the previous game and that lead to you being banned from a series for a year?

Then we have to think of the marshalls, If my gun was checked by marshall A and he said it was fine, then later marshall B says I am banned from a series for using a bouncy/ramping gun then I would definately want to have words with marshall A.

See how many problems arise from the current rules especially when you increase the severity penalties awarded.

how can that be right??!!?!!
It's already been talked about that it wouldn't be 1 pull = 15 shots more like 10 bps+ = 15.

Right, after thinking about this on the bog (where i do all my thinking) have come up with a slightly hairbrained idea.

My m8 once made a device that was a pencil mounted on a Scarlectric cars wheel that when it went round would press the trigger of the marker, so you could get a feel of how fast the marker could go.

Well, if you effectively make that but better, lol, and program it so say 60rpm fires 1bps, 600rpm fires 10bps etc.
Then when it comes to test a marker for a ramping chip, turn the wheel thingy on, at say 18bps, and find out with a radar thing if it is firing 18bps, if it is fine, its legal, if not CRUSH THE BLOODY GAT FOR WASTING EVERYONES TIME.

There we go, sorted, lol

I think you're missing the point, there's already devices that can do that. The ramping modes are hidden and obviously not active when the marker is taken to the chrono station. It's finding hidden ramp modes that is such a problem.
