The majority being people on here and people I have spoken too off board (tourny players)

Seems to be the select few FOR who are shouting the loudest and the rest of us gettin beaten down with comments like, u think of something better.
Well I dont have time or resources too, but that doesnt stop me being opposed to the current idea, or am i only allowed an opinion if I come up with a soloution??

As i said, i dont see the problem with the old rules, If ya catch the cheats, enforce the rules. Its an illegal gun and should be removed. The ones that get through, fair play to them. If they need it then shame on them. But by making it legal, u do not remove the problem of gun cheats, u just make more of them!!

You are bringing in this rule to stop the gun cheats, and the soloution is to make it ok for EVERYONE to do it. How the hell is that a soloution?? The problem is still there, yet by opposing the 15BPS cap, you just add expense to players who have to get software updates, piss off manafactures who lose an edge for marketing on BPS, add another job to already stressed marshals etc etc etc

Oh and get the UK law changed at the same time too????

Wiping players

There have been wipers in this game since day 1, It is impossible for marshals to stop players doing it so i suggest we make wiping legal for all, that way we can level the playing field for all.

Makes sense??

I'd rather we all shot semi auto too but I understand the need for enforceable rules, it is crap that we have to allow the cheats to deal with the problem but unforunatley hands are tied.
At current there's nothing to stop my entire team playing with ramping boards with hidden activation codes.
One mode I'm aware of places the extra shot's in speradically(sp?) so the time between shots is less uniform and thus the cheat less easily detectable to the ear.

No because wiping can and is enforced through ref placement etc...

I know we have suffered more at the hands of wiping players than from gun cheats, and im sure the majority of players can say the same!

So you are telling me that wipers never get away with it? That every event the marshals are so great that they always catch it??

I think its a great comparison, so please come up with a rule to stop people doing this or i dont see why we cant enforce this one too!!

No but it is catchable were as software cheats aren't.
You really think it's a good comparrison? *shakes head*

plus how'd you know you've suffered more from wipers then gun cheats? How do you know that every team you've ever played with hasn't had software cheats?? You don't!

K lets break it down lets say I have 1 ref per player (never gonna happen but bare with me). Ref 1 is watching player A, ref 2 is watching player B. Player A wipes a hit, the ref see's it, pretty easy to spot if he's in the right spot.
Player B shoots once stops, then three times, then 2 times, then starts shooting his lane, fingers going mad.

Which player gets pulled?

I agree with famine on the wiping issue - I cant honestly remember when anyone with a ramping gun has ever made that much of an impression when we've played them, but i can clearly remember many times when a player has wiped/played on when they were shot out and cost us the game.

Mute point mate, as u just said "never gonna happen" and "If in the right spot"

So wiping does happen, isnt always caught and by the argument given for the gun cheat rule, should be made legal
