As exciting as all this over priced food sounds over the past 6 pages, I think more pressing issues like the amount of false starts across all fields and divs was unacceptable due to all the buzzers sounding the same, the inconsistant reffing, the standard of playing surface, the complete lack of customer service from the front man ulric, illegal rosters in d2 from somebody in the industry who should clearly know better and set an example, a seriously flawed registration system etc

As frustrating as spending £5 on a burger is, nobody is making you buy it.
The entrance fee on the other hand, that you all paid in advance seems to have been missed. M5 at £500, D2 at £1250 and god knows what cost for the locked divs is a joke for what we were provided with at what is meant to be one of Europes premier events.
People won't talk with their feet as to play competatively there is nothing else out there, but teams really need to speak up and stop settling for sub standard services.

IPS just had a thought, I think I know a group of guys who would do a fantastic job in representing you lot, the mods on this forum headed up by Jay (Buddha); I cannot think of a more eloquent, intelligent and experienced bunch of people than the mods I have on our forum.
Start with those guys and you won't go too far wron.
The last attempt at organizing yerselves failed miserably, just as i said it would do because of the people involved, you need to get the right people to do the right job.

PPS Oh and just one more thing, I know I am a mod on this site but my suggestion did NOT include me.

That sounds like a great idea but would they actually listen? (the ms that is) and i think you would have to get a player or team captain on board from a top team to make more of an impact,

I think it failed last time because they had no real leader ship and no one to kick them up the arse when some thing needed doing.( just my opinion)

the buzzers need to b placed behind the startbunker, that way it will be directed at the players on that field. As they are mounted now its just a matter of time until someone seriously damage thier hearing... if you stand in the wrong place when it goes off, you have a ringing in your ears for minutes. It dont have to be that frakking loud!

I'm afraid it wouldn't matter a hoot if a player or team captain were on board Mark, in theory it would of course but the fact of the matter is, I know these guys, there have been a myriad of players and captains on here making noises but it ain't changed squat.
What does affect them is something more socialist in nature, and that is the masses.
And the masses, believe it or not, that voice their opinions on here; the problem being, there is no representation, no organisation and no follow-up.
If you bring those elements together, I'm afraid the MS can't really ignore you ...well, they could try but it would be difficult.

Maybe so ...... 'get another leader then' is I suppose is the obvious response to that, maybe you can do it :)

I'd say hit them in the pocket. Try the Centurio circuit and see how the MS like that.

Yes the flights are going to be more expensive, but the seriously lowered entry fees will make up for that ;)

.
Really????

How about a drink then?
What about a hot dog or maybe even a cup of tea???
Surely nobody's making me buy them either???

The refreshments vendors were not only monopolised but were also thieving bastids too, and everybody on here already knows just how much I hate thieving bastids like those who stole the bag from the press tent and thieves like jeff abbott (ooops, his name pops up again, his sibling's threats sure do seem to have made a real difference) .....

The point is, at some time, somebody on this site was going to need feeding or need some form of refreshment, and that somebody did not deserve having the ass ripped out of their wallet or purse ..... get it now???

The Millennium actually have a defence against this sort of thing and it has helped foil attempts to unite the player base in the past.

Unless I am mistaken, they have said that they will not accept any one body as a voice for all teams unless they have that in writting from each and every team supposed to be represented.

So, previous attempts to create a union-type body have involved asking the contracted teams to sign their rights of a voice with the Millennium over to the union. Many teams are uncomfortable with this kind of agreement, particularly if it is not 100% transparent and has the result of removing any rights to a direct voice with the Millennium.

Its all rather silly really and is indicative of the Millennium's lack of customer service or concept of encouraging customer feedback.
