Campaign 09 Feedback (previously known as "Ulrich is a tw*t").

Ignore the above, I have spoken with Paula at Manic who is heavily involved in the Millennium and the point of contact for the Millennium, especially the UK side of things.

Paula has asked that people contact her directly via email to raise their concerns, criticisms, feedback, and thanks. That way she can pass them on to Barry Fuggle, and Andy the logistics guy. She can then ensure that everyone gets a response as well.

So there you go.....a point of contact for people to go to.

Oh and be nice, no rants or offensive stuff !!!

Because Paula is the Secretary for the Millennium and the official point of contact (she also man's the board@millennium account as well) and she has explicitly asked that ALL emails with feedback go through her so that she can track them and ensure that everyone gets feedback.

I'd assume that Barry Fuggles email address is much like most management email addresses......a blackhole where emails go to die as the average manager/director doesn't understand this Intarweb thing !!

I'll ring Paula tomorrow, she's a lovely girl and doesn't need this hassle. I'm quite certain that a centralised point of focus, like this thread, would be a better place to get started.

Planet Piper away from you freaks!
Dusty it is all cool mate I have spoken to Paula and she is more than happy to get the emails. Dan's comments in his email cover pretty much everything here in this thread so she is hoping to have a general response to this thread and Dan's email in the next few days. If however anyone has any other issues then please feel free to email Paula

Just supposin' Paula receives over 200 emails all griping about this and that ...... what would you do if nothing happened in response?

And ya see, there's the problem from both sides :-

a) The MS have historically ignored everybody but their own counsel and nothing has happened as a consequence, and so why would their strategy [indifference] change?

b) Every time our feeble muscles are flexed in indignation and nothing's been done as a consequence ...... we did nothing as a consequence.

Anyone see a pattern forming?

PS I in no way mean to infer or suggest Paula would do anything other than pass them on to the relevant people, it's just those 'other people' tend to resemble email black holes at times like these :)

Dusty what Piper said :) I actually emailed Paula about something else today and she replied letting me know she was monitoring this thread and asked everyone to contact her.

I was originally asking for direct contacts for the Millennium board so as to save Paula the hassle. But she makes a good point. She is the point of contact. Also sending emails/letters to each board member will just create a mess. With Paula coordinating it things will go much smoother.

Oh ye of little faith Pete :)

Because Paula is aware of this thread, and because I've already emailed her my feedback and she's anticipating more, and coz she's a star and I have faith in her, (as Im sure Piper and others do) I know she'll get us a response.

Also I won't let this one drop. It needs a proper response from Barry Fuggle and potentially the entire Millennium board. For their own good as well as ours. They have to realise that for every success like Malaga there is continued ball fumbling with Basildon. Unless they start listening to us and act upon it they'll find it hurts them where they will feel it most. Their wallets. Besides if you look at what we are asking for its not "really" that much we are asking for.

Plus I think they really do want the feedback, as I do know who he was (but I know he was a Millennium board member) I had an older gentlemen asking me at the bar what I thought of the event, how things were going, who I was and my team. Pretty sure he wasn't vying for a sugar daddy role ;) lol

I hope you do get a response and i hope it has a positive effect on next years series but don't be fooled into thinking your the first person to contact the board or try this sort of thing.

There was a whole players association set up in the past that tried meeting with the millennium to on issues that effected players and from what i remember it was met with hostility. Its very easy to be "some old guy" sitting at a bar and asking people how your new m5 team did but im sure when you start asking them to lower their profit margins you will not be met with the same glazy eyed welcome.

P.s success like Malaga? Not sure if you were there but it was a wash out and the new netting system (which you may have noticed was not used for cpl or spl at this event) came down, The event was cancelled and we didnt finish playing it till Paris.

Im not trying to deter you from your cause im just warning you you might have allot of trouble pulling the sword from the stone.
