get a 106 xsi 1.4i, 100bhp in a tiny car=quick, get the insurance on your folks and your laughin, bang a janspeed exhaust system on it, racing manifold, pipercross high lift cams, induction kit, and a chip you will hav the fastest first car than most, it will fly, lower it 40mm at the front and 60mm at the back, your best of fitting bucket seats to cause your sure gonna need them.
That's a great way to waste a whole sh!tload of cash and completely arse a car up
Why a "Racing" manifold...when no head work has been done?
Why Janspeed, when Magnex or Mongoose are better?
Why Cams? What happens to the power band when you do this to an stock engine?
Why an induction kit, without thinking about how to keep heat away from
our inlet...or even, how to get some heat into it, in colder weather?
What will the chip do? Superchip, Starchip? Designed to work in ANY car, not YOUR car?
Why would you want to lower it 40/60mm? What happens to the camber...did you fit adjustable camber plates, so you can true the wheels back up? New tyres every 5 mins? New fillings every week? What about the extra strain your putting on your now, acute angled drive shafts...?
Anyone want to see what happens when your drive shaft lets go in a country lane at 80 on the bend?
Be sure to fit a collection box and cushions to your Bucket seats, your sure going to need them!
It's not as simple as that...I thought it was when I started modding cars...then I learnt a bit...quite a bit...
Oh and, "you can get away wuth internal engine mods much easier..."was liek it when I bought it" etc...might work with a Copper...wont work when you take out a Bus queue of kids when your drive shaft pops...coz unfortunately...Insurance companies expect you to know what is in your car...you declare that it is or isn't modified...that doesn't mean, AFAIK..it means is or isn't. Which means they wont pay out...and you will be liable for the injury claims, funeral expenses etc...and, your were also uninsured, which the court wont like.
