my first car is comin up soon ,
im getting a 1.3 diesel corsa ,
look here www.autotrader.co.uk cheap and cheerfull think its about £600 for a orite one,
around 40£ for tax and insurance isnt to bad either , kwik-fit for insurance ftw

First off mate, you want to pass your test

You want to start with a cheap & little car first off, one that won't cost a lot to get fixed in breakdowns or minor "dings"

the insurance for a young male just passed the driving test is going to be stupidly high, get a big car and they'll send the boy's round and rape you

My mate simon was driving down a road swerved to avoid some animal, flipped it over and into a river, all this while his arm was out of the window (being summer etc) he now has no bone in his arm

As you've been told many times on here and probably by your friends, folks etc etc.

get yourself and old banger worth a few hundred quid for the first couple of years and if you can get away with it (and still earn some NCB) insure it 3rd party fire & theft only.

Ok not much street cred but you could save yourself a few grand towards something nicer once you've built up some NCB.

i got a 2L vectra diesel for sale my girlfriend got insurance for less than a grand for a year it's the black one you have seen down at the 1/4......only £500 but it needs a new diesel pump £1200.

I would go for a diesel as the insurance is a lot better.
