over all i loved it .

the site was not hard to find and the layout had a good flow to it . the so called menu was **** as after the first burger on friday night was cold in the middel we didnt eat on site , we waited until are games had ended and went to subway.

the marshaling on the M5 feild on the first day was abit low with marshals pulling playings out of bunkers to check them and them getting lit up , and the marshal not speeking english didnt help but that was sorted by sunday and it was top grade for the rest on the event .

I have had feedback from three very experienced Millennium goers and their opinion fell into the latter category. One even said that he wouldnt be going back,
I'm not disputing that statement in the slightest but i'd be interested to know if there was any "real" justification in it or was it just a player whinging?

It seems there were certain things that certain players didn't like but for this to be such a bad event that a player decides never to return?
Sorry but i just didn't see the same event?

Overall it was a brilliant event :D , except the marshalling as said before on saturday on the M5 tomahawk field, was very poor, and got alot of complaints made, but on the sunday was fine and had no troubles.

Trade stands were great in my opinion, the food wasnt good, i dont think they realised you have to cook the burgers:( , the drinks were great :D:D as always.

Cant wait for next years CC :)

Yeah the marshalling on the Tomahawk feild on the sunday saw much improvement, as mentioned on the sat some of the marshalls were checking players and pulling them into the line of fire while doing so (as happened to us twice) but on the sunday i saw one physically push one of our players into the bunker while checking him, much better! :)

Food, not impressed on the friday, seemed to have improved by the sunday though, i braved it to buy another burger!

Comms from Millenium weren't amazing, we got through to something, first second third they said, but they didnt say for what, so we didn't have a clue what we were playing for, they need to have it alot clearer.

See you at the next one hopefully

I thought it was okay. I didn't like the fact that the Cronic field was laid down on grass not turf. One of the attractions of playing a high profile event such as a Millennium is to get away from the standard grass fields of domestic events and play on a decent surface. That said, the grass field itself wasn't too bad, if a little slipperier than the turf in the wet as I discovered to my cost...

I thought the catering was adequate, though I didnt eat much on site. More options than simply burgers which made a pleasant change and the soft drinks weren't extortionately priced.

In general the reffing seemed fairly consistent, though perhaps some slightly over zealous one 4 one calls on the SPL field for offences such as taking your hand off your head whilst on the way off the field etc.

I didnt think the atmosphere of the event was as good as last year's Campaign Cup, or Toulouse this year; perhaps partially because the CPL/SPL stands seemed a little removed from the centre of things, and the fact that the stands were so distant from the fields, or perhaps thats just me.

Either way it was a good event all round and even though the results didnt go our way, I know all the team enjoyed the event :)

I think it may have been Gordon Ramsey, as he cooks everything rare:confused:
My Team mate had a hot dog which i swear was still squealling:eek:
Just glad it wasn't just us they tried to kill:(
