Was the first time I've played on an artificial surface and I thought it was great. No problems with traction (in Tanel 360s) and sliding on your knees into bunkers is fun! :)

Shame they didn't have in on all the fields.

Thought the layout for spectating was great for the M5 fields (Dye/Tomahawk), but pants for the SPL/CPL. There looked to be some awesome games (esp SPL), but you were miles from the action and couldn't get to see much.

we played the m5,i had a fantastic weekend, feilds were goog, reffs were good .
all setup very well more than enough parking, more shiney stuff than you could shake a stick at.
the only complaints i have are, the food was cack, and the prices on some of the trade stands were apalling, and not being able to get close enough to the pro action.

Compared to the last two events this year i think the site it self was the worst of the three. but still i think it was the best Campaign set up from the past three years. good job really... outback done a great job, still not as good germany who seem to allways kick campaigns asre in the food department every year.

My only bad word to say was the stands over the spl and cpl. every other event the stands are at least twice the size and are at least sit straight up next to the fields. All the poor, poor sighted peps couldnt even see the fields without a telescope. also mad it really boring to watch as most of the time you struggled to know whos on the fields which was also aided with the poor comentating.

now i have vented it was a great event and i cant wait till belgium... see ypu all there..

bub bye!!!

Its interesting that there is a 'loved it' 'hated it' split.

I have had feedback from three very experienced Millennium goers and their opinion fell into the latter category. One even said that he wouldnt be going back, ever.

I always despair at food provision at these events. Toulouse usually got it right, other than that a burger in a bun isnt good enough!

On the upside I suppose is that at least some home teams had some success!! Well done Nexus

The XL turf is a more expensive option than the current turf they use so has been replaced. With the right footwear, its good to play on, just took everybody an event (Toulouse I think everybody was on their arse at some point) to find that out
Ahh right, I see. Lol I was just guessing but I wasn't sure becasue I wasn't actually playing.

Spoke to a mate from a Div 1 team, said he hated it. Ended up just sitting in his sponsors tent most of the day.

I think the turf on the grass was a mistake, it came up a lot when you slid on it, but it was fine at the other 2 events when it was put on top of concrete.

I thought the set up was good this event, well ran and good marshalling.
couldnt ask for much more.
