just becuase the players want it doesnt mean its going to happen though,

its all about money, if there is ever to be one league, each 'promoter' needs to see that there will not be a loss in income from doing it, as at the end of the day they are all in it for the money.if theyre not going to make as money from it, or even make a loss from it then its not really going to be worth them doing it.

now peeps may not like the the pa but that is the closest we've got to a unified valid national league. the nspl is great but unless teams participate in every event how can you guage who is best. the pa has its faults but in all honesty they are attempting to take the sport forward. teams knocking the pa for there own agenda is why we will not see uk ball progress. the masters is not on the same planet team participation wise, not knocking the masters but realistically where do the bulk of the uk MS teams come from? please for the sake of competetive uk ball think about the bigger picture.

oldham - lancs
lol have already done that.
And they did what? Let me guess - ignored you?

Mike - you will never get all 3 to agree - end of.

The millions is to start a new league - with national coverage - where teams are locked in for the whole season - where spectators pay to watch - where all the field layouts and rules are exactly the same - where all the refs are registered and trained (and accountable) - where players are also registered and accountable - where a 'board' of people (not a couple of mates) are elected by those players - where there is a full admin team at each event - where there is a full public relations crew - where there is a merchandising team - etc etc

Does this sound a little familiar? It should do - to anyone who has run a "sports" team before!

That is where all the initial money will go - and no-one is going to do all that for free (or, if they are - send me a pm and I'll start the ball rolling :p).

Because that is the only way you will get one national paintball league - the whole topic of this thread .
are you not contradicting yourself here, i dont see a lottery winner coming this way with paintball in mind so we need to build on the foundations we've already got, support places like the the nortern quarter and dartford, support serious tournies, support serious teams and players.

Ok raff, i have met at got along with you in the past but your talking sh!t, we dont need all that you've pointed out in the the above post, all we need is for the 3 tourney organisers to sit down and talk about it

So lemme put it this way.

Whoever has:

Russ : PA: Number

Syd : NSPL: Number

Wendy : Master's : already have hers

Whoever has syds and russ's number, please pm me it and i'll phone each individual and ask them if they'd be prepared to meet up and atleast chat about the chance of making this happen

Robbo, no doubt you'll read this if you could pm me your number that would be helpful, of course if you dont mind me phoning you for a chat
