Like a lot of sports decisions can be debated and debated with different views from different people.
After watching it and reading the thread and seeing how complex the events were in such a short space of time was I'm suprised the marshalls didn't just throw it to a one on one. Takes some balls to take a stand and make a choice with so much at stake.
Me personally I can't make my mind up after an hour or so looking at the pictures and vids, nevermind the 10 seconds or so the events unfolded in. Refs in paintball are no different than any other sport in that they make mistakes, or often just make decisions on there perspective on things, rightly or wrongly. Sometimes they go for you, sometimes they don't.
One thing to come from this though is just how close Joy have got to the standard of American teams which this time last year barring Russian Legion seemed so great a distance in skill sets. Just shows what the right people with the right mindset and the right training can achieve
This isn't a big up the Euro speech either. At the end of the day there Swedish, I'm British. I'm nt wanting to jujmp on the Euro bandwagon. Its just nice to see this year closer results between teams instead of having a team running away with everything for a change
As above as well I would eat my hat if behaviour at the end (all be it arguing with refs) would have been as calm if it were another American team Dynasty were playing. Bit of a gutter financially the difference between first and second place, but in terms of performance I don't think they could be seperated all weekend! Then close nature of the deciding game a testament to that
