UKM KOTH Is limited paint, so you get one hopper per player and 3 pots for the whole team, so you'd be basically losing a pot straight away.
technically if he wanted he could take more onto the field to refill after being chronoed if he wanted....as long as there are only 3 pots on players when game on is shouted.

I Had My New A1 Checked At The End Of A Game By A Marshal With A Twitchy Finger He Said This Guns Bouncing 141(i Got Tested Going On With No Problem) His Test Was To Hold The Gun Away From His Body Pull The Trigger Till It Fired Then Twitch His Finger Round This Sweet Spot...he Got It To Shoot 3-4 Balls In Every 10 Or So. How Many People Shoot Fast Like That? I Know I Just Walk The Trigger. His Test Was A Joke

Just Keep It To The Millennium Bump Test!!
I had the same with my A1 at the last masters in Lincoln, there was only 2 a1's at lincoln on that day, one was the lips demo model one was mine, both were set up by lips and used the same settings. the lips demo model got tested once and no one bothered checking it again because it was lips's gun. Mine however the marshal in question used a FULL hopper of paint to find the sweet spot and make it fire using the recoil of the marker and then banned the gun from that game, during dinner lips worked on the gun and the next game the same marshal did the same thing again.
Lips took the gun away and 4 ultimate marshall's checked it and put it on a testing robot and suprisingly it wasn't bouncing. imo if marshall's are going to do that they need training properly.

when i went to heavens gate and koth i was checked everytime whether i walked on 1st last or in between. although it may have been todo with my bright white ion  but on the last game there was a dispute about my gun bouncing as they called it (What is bouncing??????) but seeing as though it was the last game of the day they didnt seem too bothered after 3 days of marshalling and the last game of the event.,

I can only see 2 real methods of testing trigger bounce.
1. hitting back of bottle hard to see if the micro/opti switch will activate.
2. Robot test.

If someone was to set up there trigger for less travel, with there fingers moving back and forth, there is a possibility that person could hit the sweet spot, and shoot an insane rate of fire. Now is this classed as bouncing ?

Even with a loose trigger, there still is a possibility to hit the sweet spot , if only for a half a second.

I have seen marshals move there fingers as fast as they possibly could when testing guns. In doing so, it may not give the trigger enough time to travel all the way back to its original position, sweet spotting the trigger for a second .

sorry guys

cant see how there is any predudice against different markers

i marshall most of the five man masters and do chrono judge at some of them also..

as for paint wendy has a set rule that a chrono judge can use a full hopper of paint to check a suspect marker.. somethining i have never had to do is use a full one yet i aint there to waste peeps paint.

as for Bon if it was lincoln you were at and you had a problem why did you not just go and see wendy voice it with her and she would have looked into it rather than shouting about it on here..

i was on field 2 doing crhono judge and i am sure many can vouch i checked all sorts of markers
to say we never checked the black A1 because it belonged to Lips is rubbish

at the end of the day we are trying to do a job if you have a problem speak to wendy. if we were not doing it the markers that were pulled for ramping and being hot would not happen

myself i enjoy marshalling and do it at least once a month but its all theese comments that put me off

if you aint happy then bring it up at the tourney to the relevant people or get on the field and marshall yourself................................

Well put yourself in my possition, our 5th member pulling out the DAY BEFORE so having to get a replacement who couldnt get the money together by the next day, so I have not only to pay my entry and for my paint, I have to do it for him aswell. I dont plan on being in that possition, but say it was you in my possition and you end up playing 2 less games cos uve run out of paint, .
rule 1 in a tourny, always bring more than you need this applys to everything if you want to do well

rule 2 don't bitch about the marshall's,there there to keep it safe and as fair as they can, without them there wont be a tourney.

the fact that you could not afford paint is not there problem or consern, field saftey is

The Masters have a robot now? Wow, cool...

Personally Ive never been penalised or asked to adjust my gun. And my gun gets checked quite alot, especially after the game. Its all in the setup I guess.

Really? i'm surprised at that.

Hellraiser - there is prejudice against certain markers. Thats pretty much a fact. It's likely not intended, but most people see a timmy (which has been perfectly set up, or any gun for that matter) and see it shooting ropes and think its got a cheat/bounce in it. They keep seeing these guns and develop a prejudice toward them and categorise all of them like that.
