Tiberius T15 is the way to go. Once that's released there will be another surge in mag-fed play. The T15 looks amazing. They built the prototype inside an actual AR receiver to make sure they could scale 1:1. It uses mostly mil-spec furniture. If you like realism, this is the one for you.

Typically you can tell how milsim someone is simply by counting the times they use the words 'deploy', and 'tactical'.
eg. "I deployed my tactical bipod"
Sounds way more awesome than "I used my bipod" doesn't it?
If you agree - you're a milsim player, you just don't know it yet.

Are we missing an opportunity here, mixing 50 cal with magfed gets you some benefits, the higher fps with flatter arc ive been seeing with 50 cal. plus you can have your 30 rd mags in something like the AR.

19 FS rounds or 20 paintballs in the new clip. Mechanical Full-auto option, magpul accessories, this will be my next toy.
That could be joining my gun porn folder!! I think its gunna be quite a hit when its released

Magfed & first strike play is so inviting. It's not just the younger crowd who want the full COD experience with changing mags etc. As an older gent and coming from a mil background the game style and experience that would come from knowing you only have 120 / 200 rounds to utilise gives a different mind set whilst playing. Is it the way forward ?
I think in tandem with othe styles yes as they have been and are a personal choice and are fully integrated into the paintball world.
Different people have different tastes and as such gives the choice to the masses.
Personally I would love to go magfed but at the minute up against tourney markers ramping at you it makes it a) a challenge b) fairly one sided :)
Plus the other factor for myself is the first strike round. I would love this to be more available for game play as I think this adds so much more to game play but it still seems limited in its availability to be used on normal fields.

True true mate.. I think its good that there are alot more magfed games now.. And I think the bridge between speedballers and magfed people is closing.. I recently was in a game were the magfed players beat the speedballers most the time due to there immense accuracy.. And alot of the speedballers said they were going to go magfed.. And i am looking forward to the new rounds simmilar to first strike.. They look pretty good.

And go magfed mate.. Sucha good and new experience

Well all I can say is I have actually recently help get some one in to paintball and he said strait away that from watching what goes on in magfed games that's what he wants to play but setting up fully as every player knows is an expensive business, from goggles to boots and then your marker/gun it all adds up.
