You know you are addicted to Paintball when...

Mr Corbs,

I hope that you realise that when you keep up this recalcitrant behaviour, with lame posts that add nothing to the topic, you are making life a lot harder for yourself. I don't know if you play on a team, but your signature suggests you play for Chill. If this is the case, then most likely you will be at a tournament with your team sooner or later. Paintball is a small community, so there is a very large chance that some of the people that are starting to get annoyed with your style of posting will be in attendance as well. What is very likely to happen is that you will be frowned upon. This attitude towards you will probably spread to your team too, which is very unfair to them, because they are not to blame for your behaviour.
Now you have been warned. You know the personal consequences if you keep posting as you did, and you know the consequences for your team. You no longer have an excuse. If people start frowning upon your team, IT WILL BE YOUR FAULT!!!
What you do to yourself is your business, and yours alone. But don't do this to your teammates, they don't deserve it.
It is not 'too late'. As far as I'm concerned, when you start making meaningfull contributions to threads you are ofcourse, like any of us, a welcome addition to the board. If you keep posting mindless drivel, I think a lot of us would rather see it that you'd go away.
I believe that you are still relatively young, which may explain that you are perhaps not aware of how you come across, so consider this a free lesson in life. For the same reason I would like to ask everybody that seemed to be getting a little hotheaded to be conservative in their approach for now. The issue has been addressed, let's hope things'll change for the better.

Peace.

Addicted? I think so...

ALL true:

1) When the lanyard holding your game badges from the past 15 years breaks from the weight
2) When the bookcase holding all your paintball magazines warps from the weight
3) When you play the hour-long final battle with a pump
4) When you store your unused paint inside the foyer closet ... and dust the boxes off monthly
5) While sitting at the computer or on the phone, you're absently working the lid to loosen up your new Halo
6) Your mother wants to know where you got the cool paintball cargo pants you're wearing on your visit ("Those look comfortable!)
7) You can remember the field nicknames of more than 200 players
8) You listen to "cool move" stories from games you didn't get to attend - and enjoy them
9) You loan your spare marker to a kid you don't know so he can continue to play - and it comes back covered in paint (but he'll remember that the rest of his life)
10) You're down to your last guppy of paint in the final battle when the guy next to you runs out, and you give him half so he can continue to play. You know he'd do the same for you.

I wouldn't call these ones "addicted." I think it's called "being a nice guy." :):):):)
