And I thought the oldest trick in the book was the rabbit in the hat....
Then again, maybe it was the separating finger trick, since you don't need any special equipment for that.
Take the advice as just that.
For example, I've already fielded one rather panicked phone call as a result of someone in this very thread who claims to "know everything" shooting their mouth off about college x-ball without having even the slightest clue of what's going on.
Yeah, you know who you are.
Although I was greatly amused at how utterly ridiculous the rumor was, it wasn't quite so funny when you realize that there were people actually making real decisions based on this particular piece of total misinformation.
My experience is web board gossip is worth the paper it's printed on. Someone will get one little piece of information and then build up a whole story around it and market the whole thing to you as fact - and then you'll find out later that while the little piece of information was true, the picture it was part of was totally different. If you guys want to have fun trying to figure out what "the scoop" is, more power to you, but I'd really suggest not taking any of it seriously.
And limitted beer choice? What are you smoking? There's great beer all over the place in this country; you're just not likely to find it in the supermarket.
