Juice, the board have considered all these possible variations to the format. It is however not a scheduling problem which stops them from using the format this year, it is as someone said cus they wanna try the format in pro and see that it works.

It just gives a massive advantage to the teams that have been playing the format for the last year.

The difference between m7 and the 7man norm is significant enoughfor RL to stop playing both due to the impact it had. It makes it very hard for those that arent the privelaged few to train and prepare while also looking to play a number of milleniums.

Here´s more from the meeting:
(maybe some has been posted already but I can´t be bothered with doublecheck)

-This year you can not sell your spot. Next year you can. You will if the new team changes the spots name have to pay a fee to the series. This fee will be flat and descided at the end of the season to correspond to the value of the teams. If you sell your spot and the new owner continues to use your name you will not have to pay the fee.

-Field commity, Sam Shock, Christian Menace, Steve and Laurent. Will release the layout 1 month prior. The field will be the Millennium Field with the big M in the middle with the long side parallel to the spectators (if you get what I mean). This will allow the tapes to go crazy without being stopped from the opposite tape. Should cater for some wild action!

-Flag goes out, buzzer comes in. Player hits the buzzer and stops the time. If you do this with a hit the other team gets the point (if I remember right???)

-Entry fees goes up, €1750 for CPL and all divs increases with the same %.

So basically the M will be facing the crowd? So from the base all you can see is its side. It will create a sort of wall in the middle if you're looking from tape to tape? Thats a bit weird. Won't it block the spectators view of one whole side of the field?

Pit area

One question : 7 players in the pit area and only 5 players on the field. But are the pit crews already included in the 7 "persons" allowed in the pit area?

In other words, is it :
1) 7 players + 2 pit crews
2) 7 players (pit crews and coach included)
3) 7 players ( pit crews included) + 1 coach

What is the rule?

7 players in the squad. One coach (optional) and 2 pit crew.

The pit crew may be players, but they are not allowed to play in that individual match.

A new roster of 7 players must be submited before each match, the 9 can interchange but a roster of 7 is fixed for each match.

Yes, thats what I meant (I knew I could not express myself fully hehe)

Your right, it´s gonna block some of the view of the other side.
