X Ball: How much information from the tower is just right?

For Campaign Cup and for next season: How much should the commentators say about moves and positions without being unfair and makin' things look bad?

The commentators make the games way more exciting and it is great to direct and inform the crowds. But where is the right point for balance?

How much do the players hear of the commentating?

The background to this question has to do with some complaints and suggestions about such at some of the tourneys.

While we're here: if any people out there that I trust (you know who you are) see some things going on during the games that perhaps I might miss (I can't hear the tower commentating so easily because I often stand right under the tower and focus on running the games and judging) then by all means find me and tell me as soon as possible so I can fix it.

well, i can only voice my opinion about the Joy masters Xball and my god did thoose americans ever stoped talking? of course there should be some commentating but sometimes it's nice to hear the game aswell. i don't think commentating about movement is that of a big issue since both teams can gain information of it, but it also removes some of the coaches role since they are usually the ones who are to shout out opponents moves and such.if they are to be commenting about moves they could refrain from giving away the exact bunkers the players are in but only give away that the team has moved up to the 50's and things like that.

atleast that is my opinion.

Hey, for every job, no matter how poorly paid (or not paid), there is a performance requirement. I doubt if you have anything to sweat and as I've said and heard many say, you and Magued did a great job at DMA.

Instead of trying to work out who says what, shouldn't the teams be approached as to what they wanna do ?
I mean, has anybody contacted any of the X-Ball prospective teams to see what their intentions are?

Seems to me, you better address that little problem first before you start going on about who does and says what !!

Question Colin: Where will Magued be during the games they play? They may well play two outta the four games. I don't think I want him in the tower during any games with Sweden playing. Besides that I'm sure he'll be coaching or playing.
