i never said that you called yanks ******* but it is definatly implied
and again instead of replying with any type of information that actually aplies to the post you are comenting on you go on about all of the little details that dont mean anything


ok and for Christian-Malera i am sorry that the "world" was used but i honestly can not believe that it is such a big deal ok go ahead and bitch all you want about the use of the word but the fact is that we got paintball on tv and all you guys can do is hate thats sad

Truth be told - I don't quite understand why so many people are so uptight about the name?

I am yet to hear one negative word about the running of the WPL or the media coverage they have secured.

We should all be extremely happy they have succeeded in getting paintball on tv - instead of getting hung up on whatever it is called..... heck - for all I care they could call it "Brockdorff Appreciation League".

Paintball is RIPE with "cool sounding names" for teams, guns, events, etc. - none of which REALLY reflect the reality.... so why is the name of this particular event series so important to everyone?

Have I missed something the people behind the events did, that has made them paria to the paintball community??

Maybe Milt peed in Robbo's Cheerios? I don't know.

But the problem with WPL has nothing to do with the name. After watching it, the problem is...

It desperately needs improvement. The show leaves you with a very "cable access" taste in your mouth. Everything happens too fast. You can't follow it. You don't know who is winning. It deprives you, as a viewer, of he ability to get emotionally invested. Without that, you've got nothing.

The sponsors are there. The ideas are there. The production isn't quite there. Hopefully they figure it out as the season goes on.

And from what Chicago's just commented upon re the production, it comes as no suprise...
Not only do you need some remedial education but you also seem to be suffering from a selective memory, let me remind you of something you said in your previous post:-

That's not an implication, that's a statement.
Now, if you seriously want me to answer any of your questions, you have got to go back to elementary school, learn some basic spelling, throw in a tad of grammar (it's always quite pleasant) and then, try to go to some classes that enable you to recollect what you wrote a few days ago.

I can see that you 'think' you have put together what YOU might describe as a clever rebuttal (therein lies the rub, it's what YOU think), but in fact, it's just another example of ignorance, terrible spelling and even more atrocious grammar, which I have to say is generally a pretty good indicator as to the levels of intelligence of the writer.
And on that basis, I have no interest in talking to somebody like you who has an agenda but not the intelligence to back it up and thus defaults to inane drivel.
Now run along..........this is the grown up world.

PS and if you think I am attacking your grammar etc just to make you look small, I am not, you did that expertly enough by not taking your time to construct your post properly.
I bought it up to qualify why I will not even begin to answer any of your pathetic questions until you have at least thought about them properly and then packaged them in a cogent form.

I comented on the world part, that's all, I read the thread as that was the issue.......That you put paintaball on TV that's great, i wish you luck.

Christian-Malera, thank you for your support. As far as the name, we honestly thought that we had teams from other counrties that were going to participate. We had spoken confermation from a couple of teams. Thats when we maid the disicion to call it what we did.
Then right before we start taping, those teams backed out. We had already made our banners, WGN had aproved the name, and the word was already out on what was up. Its hard to change something once the ball is rolling. If this truely offends anyone, we at the WPL truely apologize.

Now Robbo, regretfully I am done with this thread. As usual you have nothing to say in rebutal to my statements. All you do is make some excuse about how I am saying things instead of actually responding to my statement.

Again to the "WORLD" i am sorry for upsetting you with the fact the the word world is used in a legitament tv show about paintball.

Now, while we all make the odd spelling mistake, the the main thing I don't understand is why people who openly admit that they can't spell or form proper sentences don't type out their posts first and have them spell-checked. Especially if they are representing what is presented as a professional industry entity, and even more so if you are having the piss taken out of you...

Missy, the answer is simple, their bad spelling gives us a clue; for anybody to spell as bad these clowns, it implies a lack of education, and here I am talking about basic education.

If we acknowledge this, then the consequent conclusion is quite to easy to make, they are just too damned stupid to do it....it beggars belief to realise that some people are that stupid but I'm afraid the evidence supplied by these two is compelling....

It makes ya wonder.....
