What do you mean by "UK Ranking", what have you based these "rankings" on? Tigers don't seem to be ranked in any way, despite being arguably the UKs top team right now for example, and there's lots of UK teams in the list without any ranking figures beside them who've played a number of tourneys in the 4 main series in the UK. It can't be based on current Millennium results, as there's teams who haven't played any this year with a ranking, and others who've played lots without a ranking.

sand bagging

well we feel honored
the ukm1 team are classed as Am eh
im glad you think so boys,
i dont !!
ok we did well at last years cc as novice, our first and only time.
this is our second millenium EVENT EVER

this year we have played like rookies, the whole team agree on that.
we have had the odd good result, but at the end of the day it was my choice, i chose the divisions the teams are in as clubs captain,

maybe we are a good novice team, but i dont see us as am, not yet anyway, next year however it may be different.

but if we do get beaten by so called lesser teams,(not to sound bigheaded) then fine they beat us fair and square, if we do well then i will be happy so will the team, if the teams happy im happy and i will have done my job properly.

as long as the guys and girls in the ukm club are happy, sod what you lot think, you aint my problem
sorry if i sound abrupt, but listening to to some of you lot, is a bit like listening to my kids arguing at home, least i can send them to bed were novice this year sorry if you dont like it but there it is

GOOD LUCK TO ALL TEAMS THAT MEET US WE WILL SEE YOU IN THE MIDDLE!!

ALSO TO TEAM SCALP FROM FRANCE WERE LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING YOU AGAIN

Rankings

I got the rankings off a link from someones reply to something on this forum can't remember where. I just transfered over the rankings to the campaign team list. It did say however that millenium events did not count and that a team had to have played in one of the UK leagues and played at least four of them, and the last ten or twelve results counted towards it so if only four had been played then your ranking would be low. As for Nexus and the Tigers i dont know who is better as i haven't seen them play this year as they don't seem to be at many UK events or at least i haven't seen them. Sorry if anyone is a bit miffed at the list but i didn't compile it i just found it and put it with the campaign list. Since people wanna talk about sandbaggers it shows which teams have been doing well this season and people can judge for themselves who is sandbagging and who is not.
The rankings are a bit like golf if your european and you play the PGA Tour all year you will not be ranked as number 1 in europe even if you were in the top five in the world rankings, you have to accumulate points in the european tour to be ranked high in europe. So for these rankings you have to be playing on the UK circuit to accumulate points to be highly ranked.

I appologise if anyone has been offended by comments and posts i have made.

Was just confused Jasper. The only rankings I know about are those done my Blakey from MM (and SAD), and Go-one from Team Zone. Both these take M25 results into consideration and as the Tigers have been playing the M25 series they would be on both ranking lists. Probably a safer bet would be to look at who plays which divisions in the major series. Although the overall standard is a bit different across these (e.g. SWPL in general has a slightly lower level of team playing), I think most people would agree that any team that plays regularly in Div 1 (or A) of at least MM, S2K3 or M25 shouldn't really call themselves novice.

I don't know about you lot, but I'm beginning to think that this sandbagging lark might not be a bad idea. Have you seen how low some of those back bunkers are? Building them up with a few sandbags is just the thing us poor, unfit back players need. :)
