I have, in view of who the team has in it, respectfully asked/told Method, via Colby, to play where they should in AM A. I think he understood my reasoning

Why do people get worried about playing anyone? Its still just 7 guys with guns, they will not shoot you any harder, and it will hurt just the same if Ollie Lang or Goober McGoober shoots you. Get over it! And play Ball!:)
Hear hear. When we found out we had drawn Dynasty as our Pro team at joymasters sure,I had to go change my underwear [well turn it inside out;) ]. But when you realise that you were playing a team that are at the pinicle of the paintballing world and this was an opurtunity not to be missed, things felt a lot better. Sure anybody can be impressed by watching a pro team on the field but would you be more impressed to have stepped onto the field and played ball with them.

Oh and for those that want to know we lost against Dynasty [no surprises there then] But we did last two and a half minutes of the onslaught and took one of them off the break.

hmmmm,
I'll take Baca and TJ's comments as being modd'ed, I think it was some of those Special Brews creeping in again.
Speaking just for myself, Stongl, if the skirt fits, wear it. If not, don't worry about it but every comment of mine in this thread has been precisely what I think.

What if they said no? Do Method "qualify" to play Am B according to current Mil rules or don't they? If they do, how can you pick them out of the rest and tell them where they can play (and not do the same for/to everyone else)?

hmmm, well I'm not complaining about it (SB), never did. We just wanted to try and beat whoever we were playing. Maybe I got a bit misconstrued in my overzealous posting, so I apologise for being childish

If we all stopped whinning about and got on with it well, kind of my point in the first place.

And how would you know about my skirts, I thought those pictures were locked away.

And I never suggested you were--but your remark that I quoted above did suggest that somehow my comments (and TJ's) could be dismissed as more mod agitation and that is what I was responding to.

Now where's Niall to answer the serious question?

The answer Dear Baca is No. By M/S rules they could play AM B.

My mailbox has been hot with people pointing out that Method is made up of nearly all ex pros. What are they doing trying to play AM B??

I questioned their choice..It is still that, their choice, I asked them to reconsider. I think they knew!! Colby agreed that they have nothing to play for in AM B. Their only reason is they want to is to get the team to "gel" before next season. If this is the case they can just as easily acheive this by playing in Am A, without upsetting everyone in the process.

Hope this answers.

Bah.

If you're going to have rules make them good rules, and freaking enforce them. If not, just get rid of the rules and stop penalizing honest people.

You're taking prizes away from the best teams and handing them out to people for beating up on newbies. That's just stupid. It's stupid from a moral standpoint, and it's stupid from a long-term growth standpoint. If you're going to have a novice division, and you're going to say it's for new teams, then get everyone else out of that division.

There are no prizes for the winners of the Novice Section though Chris. Just trophys, so nobody wins anything....They pay entry fee but get nothing back if they win.
