Well - if the format they end up with is workable for all levels of the sport, I'll be the most wholehearted supporter of it... I just want to see what it is, before I jump onboard.

In the land on the blind, the one eyed man is king ;)

que sera sera...Our discussions here aren't going to change anything but I for one think it would make sense to have NXL-style for the pros, PSP-style X Ball with 32 minute matches for Div 1 and X Ball Lite (first to 5 points with maximum match times of 30 minutes or so) for Divs 2 and 3. Then maybe 5-man for a true young guns division. This I think should satisfy everyone and provide a natural path of progression.

We'll see.

I think it might be better we all use the same format.

For the shee-, um, I mean the teams, to have anything to say about what happens to Paintball. Apparently. (But as the power brokers undoubtedly know what's best for all of us--as they have proved so often in the past--why worry.)

Survival is at the head of the industry's agenda at the moment Paul, it's as simple as that.
Sounds dramatic I know but it is true for some peoples.

The teams do have a say and alot of power. The Millennium has been doing the same old thing since it started and that is all down to the players.

If they hadn't entered the tournaments and put up with all of the cr@p then the Millennium would have had to change.

What actually happened is the teams still entered and then bitched about everything afterwards....and then entered the next event....and bitched....and entered again and so on.

It is in the industry's best interests to create something that caters for the players. Sometimes they get it right and sometimes they get it wrong but they are the guys who are investing the big bucks.

If you can do a better job for the worlds players...put your money where your mouth is.

(p.s.... no offence meant Baca :) )

EDIT ADDED: not offended in the least, Jeff. You are free to regurgitate the same old tired "thinking" as is the next guy. btw, power unexercised isn't power. :) TFP

I don't necessarily disagree but frankly the problems and issues we all have to deal with (or live with) are of their own making so I find it hard to be a) sympathetic, b) optimistic, and c) not bloody annoyed on a regular basis. :)
