I'm gonna have to go for the fourth option, if I've not felt the hit but there is sufficient paint that it could be a hit I'd have to call a marshall over and point it out to them, I'm guessing in that 1 on1 situation, in the finals at the World Cup there's gonna be at least 3 marshalls watching you like a hawk, if they've not already pulled you they're probably not going to.

In seriousness if you havent felt a hit then it probably wasnt one, dont wipe just play through and hope the judges see your side
