i case you'd wipe...is winning toulouse so good you could ever forget you might not have REALLY earned it?
on the other hand...if you get away with it and owen from wdp comes to see you after the game, offering new angels for the whole team...errr...i think a lot of people would have a short term amnesia then...and i wont exclude me from that...
it doesnt mean i would wipe...but...would i? next year...maybe i find out *G*

Hmm.. never had a hit on my hand that i HAVEN'T felt.. lets face it a hand shot usually stings a bit. So, question is how could I be sure it was a hit and not come off a bunker anyway?
In that situation I'd probably run the flag but then be honest and point the paint out to the flag judge as he is checking me... before he notices it ...and let the refs and fate decide.
I reallly HATE playing against cheats, so i wouldnt attempt to wipe it. I don't believe it's part of the game.

if it was on a glove then i would hang the flag and do something crafty like take my gloves off ant throw them to the floor asif
i had jut had a hard days work

... then the marshal wouldnt see it at the end.

and if any one else did i would have claimed i never felt it hit me?

The other guy was shot first, and the paint on my glove was from the bunker.....this I can live with because...........If I got shot on the hand, I would have felt it, and stuck my hand up, and walked off to the dead box.

Its not cheating, I didnt see or feel a hit, and the marshall stood next to me didnt see it.

So there you go, not a problem really!

And I win, we get a fantastic sponsorship deal, and fly round the world, meeting loads of new people, and shooting people for free..........sounds worth it to me.

Firstly i'm a group 3 guy. Until recently i've been mainly a recball woodland guy and you need to play fair in the woods for the game to be worth playing. (Not saying anyhing bad about tournys, just that marshalling ratios are better, and you tend not to be hidden in a bush!)

What do the millenium rules say, for example about a situation where a player was hit, was unaware of it as were the marshals, until afterwards. At what point is he eliminated, when the marshal or player notices it? - meaning that he could have eliminated the other player within the rules. Or is he eliminated at the time at which he was hit, which might not be determinable, leading to this debate..

If your hit on the back you can keep playing on once you have called for a paintcheck, and go on to eliminate people. Would this come under the same sort of situation.

However i would say in this situation it was probabley off the bunker but it is the marshal's call not yours, so let them deal with it.

sorry mate, thought you meant you'd lie to get a wipe. My mistake. I once got pulled after kneeling in paint, big orange splodge on my knee, knee in pile of blaze that had fallen out of a team mates battlepack. Playing a team using white fill zap.
I called the marshal over.... he called me out. I wasn't too pleased :)
Had that at Campaign.

Break out to the back left make it to my bunker (under a lot of fire) and start my job, Marshall pulls me, I got "hit" on the toe of my shoe.

I leave as I would, the orange blob on my shoe was not from the other guys as they all shot white or yellow paint.

Never noticed till later.

Arse.

that was a good guess how did u know?
Duffy is one of the PGI lads and I think he deals with most of the web stuff, site, forum etc

So he knows who you are through IP address and all that and when you report to a moderator it goes to his email (I think)
