Thank you to everyone for their fair review of the weekend.

Communal showers, well it it a cricket club after all, the girls used it afew times, it must be a guy thing....

Toilets, it has been rightly said that the cricket club is not used to having so many people using their facilities, next year we are going to provide a couple of porta cabins, hopefully this will make it better, as to cleanliness, i cleaned both toilets twice on Saturday and once Sunday, and other than the broken toilet seats in the gents, they weren't that bad.

Netting, as Graham has said in earlier posts, we couldn't take it any higher, it would have just blown away, we had to strap it twice on Friday again Saturday and put more supports in on Sunday. Thanks to Mr A, and Sonic, we just managed to get it up there in the first place.

Fields, i was the first to admit the fields were small, but only the same size as the fields at round 8, Lincoln Combat Zone, because of the size of the Pro Tour field 30m x 55m it didn't leave us with much room to squeeze all four fields into.

The Angels fully support the Pro Tour, it is a fantastic training ground for the top UK teams, well done to Kelly's, yes it was to the deteriment of the other fields, but it was a small price to pay, i feel, or was it, we lost two fields that could have accomodated another 20 teams, but at the end of the day, it is for the good of paintball.

Marshals, there will always be good and bad decisions, marshals are only human after all, because of the size of the fields it made for aggressive play, so marshals had to be extra vigilant, well done i say to all the marshals for doing their best.

I think i have covered everything, we will be having the charity auction on site next year, the bouncy castle will be there both days, alcohol will be sold as usual from the pavillion, and next year the DJ will be setup outside in a gazebo. I will be inviting the outdoor laser tag organisers back, for the Friday afternoon and the Saturday night.

If their is anything else we can do to make it even better next year let me know................you are what makes the UK Masters what it is!!!

:D :D :D

Well done UK Masters

Wendy it was a great tourny, really good atmosphere, the weather was fab and everyone looked like they were having a cool time.

It had a real heart to it.

I agree with Jeff about the netting, we were 'eliminated' in the Pro Tour pits several times!

Apart from that my only gripe is can you move Wales a bit closer to Essex next year as 5 hours to get home was not good on Sunday evening. :D

I think the Welsh Open was fine :)

I personally think the paint coming over the netting made walking too and from games that bit more adventurous :)

Even the festivities on the sturday night was worth the 5 hour drive ;)

Cheers for the great Tourny ladies!

the low netting seems to be a problem throughout uk tourneys INCLUDING CAMPAIGN as i was shoot walking to the loos and several people where shot on the grandstand seating in the back at they were not at the top but below netting height

it all comes down to prevention before someone gets hurt and organizers get sued and we get bad press

just my opinion even though i was not at the welsh open but many thanks to the girls for the event my team mates from TEAM SPANK enjoyed it and so wouldve i hadnt i not been celebratin my wedding anniversary

From a different perspective - Iwent to spectate on Saturday afternoon with my 4 year old daughter only intending to go for about an hour. Ended up staying over 4 hours and left with a tearful daughter who wanted to watch more. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful and we both had a great time.

Thanks to everyone involved.
