WDP not teching at Millenniums now?

I think it's insane to enforce platinum sponsorship to allow teching of the guns.
Tech support is a factor that people appreciate when coming to large events. Often people come who aren't even playing, come just for that support.
If vendors are already sponsoring the event, then they should be allowed to support their customers, and the events customers. I actually think events should give more support to tech facilities as it helps keep their customers playing and happy.
To require 'platinum sponsorship' smacks of greed.
Oh, and BTW, what is 'tech support'?... if someone asks "What do I do to stop FSDO" should the response be 'sorry I can't answer your question'... how insane. Or are you not allowed an allen key to tighten someone's bottom line?
