Have been to every event apart from Madrid (lucky me ;)
I have to say Bitburg was the best.

Don´t need no location like Disney where all you have is expensive hotels and overprized food.

Bitburg was great. It has all a player wants. Cheap hotels, gras/turf, a nice grandstand (for only players watching).
Marseille was great for the beach and weather. Personally I liked London for visiting as it is a great city.

Please bring more player-friendly locations back again. No need for Disney again. Bring back Amsterdam for the red light district and weed... ;)
What about Munich for the best beer in the world?!

Campaign, seriously. It was poor. Rough area, hotels were sh!te, players area bit annoying to get to, sometimes got crammed on the stairs. And whats with the fact that spectators could only watch cpl and jt field? Chronic field if you went for a wander.

Bitberg was ace, everyone seems to have the same opinion. Paris, although Disney isn’t great for players it is amazing for advertising the sport to the public. The car park used this year was defiantly a disappointment compared with the one they used in the previous year which was connected to the Disney village, Loads of spectator’s loads of fun.

I would like to have seen Marseille but fights were just too expensive for myself.

Campaign was alround pants, including the point where the marshalls removed a barricade off the dye field because they just couldnt be bothered to keep blowing it up or event repair it.

I voted Marseille as the best this year - apart from the fact that flying there was quite expensive, everything (!) else was just perfect - venue, hotels, number of spectators (WOW!), food, organising - yeah everything!

Bitburg comes 2nd - apart form the fact it´s in the middle of nowhere (driving there is the cheapest!) and there is barely any spectators apart from paintballers, it´s a really nice place - organisation of it + ideal hotels and such makes it a solid event. ;)

Actually Madrid is my 3rd place - some of you may think it sucked, but I actually think it worked quite okay! It was easy finding cheap hotels and the venue actually worked okay as well! Yeah - you missed some fields, but the ones that where there worked! The food was really great - the best catering all year - and time schedule + marshalling also worked fine dispite all the probs prior to the event. Some of you laughed at the small stands at the 7-man fields, but they where quite cool actually - gave a better view at those fields than at the other events this year! :)

Paris in my personal 4th place on the other hand where just too darn expensive - everything - name one thing there, and you paid terrible overprices! The set-up was not anything near promised (in my oppinion), and only attracted a minimum of spectators. Basically it was a boring event - you might say.

Campaign - what is there to say, that hasn´t already been said? The set-up was such a dissapointment - and how on earth it could go so wrong with the netting, minimizing the spectators possibility to watch anything other than CPL, is simply beyond me?! That ruined a lot for me - maybe the catering was okay, maybe the venue was actually okay, maybe some of the hotels where okay - but basically "okay" doesn´t cut it! Again - in my oppinion.... :(

I would rather have some great stuff and then a couple of bad pointers at every event, than having everything just being "okay!
