Hey Rich T,

Magued greeted you:
Whats up Negro?
Isn't that like the English saying, "That's like the pot calling the kettle black."? Didn't know you were also a bro'.

I'm the guy who reffed with your team at Joy. Micah ignored my e-mail. I'm still waiting for my sponsor-package after standing in for you. Maybe the guys don't want to claim me as a team member? (Doh!):D

I was looking forward to some Dye duds, and one of those spiffy mask systems, not to mention a melty Matrix.

I look out for the brown truck every day. Guess I just have to settle for having been a SC (that's South Carolina, isn't it?) Ironman for a weekend. Definitely the most pro points I've ever earned a team at a tournament.

Will gladly do it again anytime. Greetings to the boys. It was a distinct pleasure to get to hang with them.

Concerning which series to get behind: go with quality, go with NPPL. Let's cement the bonds between ourselves and our European cousins and allies and ensure that the most-supported American series is hooked up to Millennium. Remember, a lot of teams look at what you guys do.

Cheers,

Steve

what is up super pimp,
man this is a jacked up time to be a captain and a promoter I guess. I heard just last night that the PSP and the Millenuim are both going to be doing X-ball. I want to talk to you or Laraunet to see what is really going on? they told me that each PRO team would have to play to tournaments on the other side of the sea.
Say hi to all the Killers in the joy camp. Thanks for the Gun in florida of that's right if you still got it I still want it?

peace

Rich , there is no agreement between the PSP and the Millennium promoters and won't be all the time 'certain' conditions are not met.
I can't pre-empt what some people are going to do but what I can say is this, certain conditions have to prevail for the Millennium to even consider integrating X-ball.
I have just had some of the terms and conditions read out to me of the contracts that are on the desks of yourselves and other franchise owners.
They ain't worth **** coz nobody is gonna sign them !!!!!
I can't believe some of the crap in that and there is no way any of the Euro team owners are gonna read that crap and not laugh their balls off.
Nah, at the moment the PSP desperately need the Millennium to jump on board but at the moment, the PSP tournament infrastructure just isn't there.
Rich, your views on World Cup please, what did ya think of the toilets, bleachers, reffing situations etc ?
Pray tell us what you think !!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
November 15, 2002

National Paintball Supply (“NPS”) is proud to announce its support for the 2003 Paintball Sports Promotions (“PSP”) series of tournaments.

Upon considering PSP’s successful 2002 season and their plans for 2003 and beyond, NPS is convinced that the PSP has demonstrated its full and unqualified commitment to the growth of competition paintball and bringing our sport to the next level.

The 2002 Paintball World Cup reached new milestones this year with more than 450 teams participating. 5 Man and 10 Man champions were crowned in four categories, pro, amateur, novice and rookie, and, for the first time, a college championship was held with many of the biggest universities in the nation competing in the new X Ball format.

Other firsts included a one-hour documentary of the 10 man event at the Cup to be aired on the Outdoor Life Network by early December, and the introduction of paintball at Disney's Wide World of Sports.

The PSP has unveiled its program for the 2003 season and it is clear that the top-ranked pro and amateur teams will most assuredly participate in the proposed 5 man center flag, 10 man two flag and new X Ball™ formats to be played exclusively at the various PSP events. Further, the PSP has demonstrated their commitment to support players and sponsors at every level and to provide the every participant with incentives for supporting the PSP series of tournaments.

After taking a look PSP’s 2003 program at www.npplinfo.com we think you will agree that there is nothing else on the paintball horizon that has as much potential of moving our sport to the next level.

So NPPL is at nppl.com, psp at npplinfo.com - sense a name war coming on, anyone?

Interesting indeed. Very carefully worded. Isn't it typical that the link given is to a site that doesn't appear to have been updated since February 2001. Wonder if that doesn't indicate the true shape of things to come compared to all the fancy words in the announcement? Compare that to http://www.nppl.info/

Call me skeptical, but I'll believe that when I see it, and I'll see it as long as it's not aired at 4:00am and listed under "paid programming."

The PSP has unveiled its program for the 2003 season....
Aside from the comment Jerry made, I haven't seen any program.

After taking a look PSP’s 2003 program at www.npplinfo...
Again, what program? I ain't on anyones' side but my own, but am I missing something here?
