Well i study at Coventry University.

I am hoping to get onto the union team this year and after speaking with alot of people last year about a possible paintball teams / more organised paintball activities within the union. I hope i might be able to get a team going.

Being not far from Birmingham Uni, any bham people watch out ;)

Time will tell :D

Collegiate World Cup - Free entry for you brits

Since the ukupa whatever site appears to be down, figured this is thebest place for this:

If a bunch of you guys from Britain (or any other country for that matter) want to put together a team and come play Collegiate World Cup (X-Ball) at PSP World Cup in October, the NCPA will give you free entry. We've also got paint available for you at $25/case if needed.

Rules:

1) Every player must be a FULL-TIME student.
2) Everyone on the team has to come from the same country.
3) No players who are on an EXL team PLAYING AT WORLD CUP, unless the whole team is from the same school.

Matches are on Thursday Oct 28 through Saturday Oct 30. If you can get there days earlier, as early as Friday the 23rd, I can find work for you to help offset the other costs.

Shoot me an email at ncpa@college-paintball.com if you are interested - I will most likely *NOT* read this thread again.

I know i wudnt have team worth taking at that time :(

Also the time of the year isnt great, alot of us are just starting uni again, money is a tough area at the mo (well for me anyhow :p)

I cudnt justify forking out about £700+ to go play paintball yet.

Maybe next time
