Ok Slim sorry i have took so long to reply but only just noticed it.
First off i hope the prat who tested your gun is not one of my lot and if he is please feel free to call him a plonker next time you meet.
Trigger bounce, - I always ask the marshals who i know can check a gun to do the checking but you always get the jobsworth who thinks he knows it all.
But whoever is doing the checking must do it in a manner in which the gun would be used in a game and not some silly balancing act using the barrel and trigger.
I want them to pull on the trigger slowly and try to find a point where the gun cycles by itself with no further action by the player. (if some tosser comes on and starts giving me a lesson about the gun is causeing the finger to move in relation to the trigger he will get a smart reply a'la Robbo style so please dont bother)
So pull the trigger in a shooting position slowly and see if you can get the gun to cycle more then once per pull try it not more than five times and if no responce give it them back, On the first pull they will be asked to hold the trigger back and release it slowly as well.
That is all they need to do.
However if they do find tb you will still be allowed to go on the field but without your gun, I am sure some of the players think marshals are getting to keen on this subject but now you know what they are looking for you now know how to set your trigger.
If you fail the test for TB you can find me at Series2003/4 events or Mark Blakemoor at the Midland Masters who will check it out ourselves but do not tell us you got it new like that we DO KNOW all the setting the markers leave the factory at.
Am i concerned about trigger bounce - not really the very few who use it could if they tried find they could fire faster if they could use the trigger properly.
But we are all concerned about runaway triggers were you have set them so short the slightest vibration sets them off.
we had one a while ago and the only way to stop it was to pull and hold the trigger.
Also if your gun can be set to run on different settings like the E-Mag you can be checked in all modes - So get them imput pressures down
