When playing tournaments try to limit the amout of paint you use. By doing so you will force your team to move a lot more in order to get the eliminations, and not just sit there and fire your 20 pots at half an elbow that maybe hanging out of the back corner bunker. You will learn so much more than standing behind a bunker and firing all day long.

You will notice the difference in the long run, and I've heard some pretty good teams use this format

When buying batterys for loaders and markers make sure you don't buy "cheap " ones, you will only have problems after your first games when both your loader and marker cut out

have some confidence in your abilities

you need to be confident, how can you expect to play if you dont seriously beleive you can beat those 7 punks down the other end of the field

Eat properly throughout training and tournaments. Slow releasing carbs keep energy up throughout the day. Don't binge on sugar....it'll screw you over

Make sure that you stretch before every game. This will help avoid strains and improve muscle responce time.

Always have some spare o-rings, hose and elbows in your kit. You never know when you might need them.

Remeber that when a team turns up with no kit, no jerseys, and there all under 16, play with site rented infernos, you should never underestimate them because they'll be the ones that upset you.
