Not that I can add much to what Ant, Duff and Pete have said but here's my two penneth.

Quite a few years ago PGI intentionally drifted away from comprehensive coverage of Brit ball. Why? Because the US of A is where the sales are and besides that most serious baller in euro land wanted to know what was going on over there.

I was quite critical of this at the time but when you look at what is involved, how much space there is in a mag and where the real interest is then sense prevails and you must see that the focus must be stateside.

How does this tie in with this thread? Well as has been said previously - if you play over there and the yanks know you then they want to hear about you and see pictures of you. There arent many baller in the states that dont know about Nexus, Ton Ton, Joy or RL. They play over there - they generate the interest, they get the coverage.

And where do the pictures come from? Not D7's or Skirmish Notts - but Huntington Beach, New Jersey, Miami, Orlando, Las Vegas, Chicago etc. The Millenniums attract attention too of course but then who wins those? Yanks!! There's a pattern here!!

Anyway - I like the guys on the Tigers, we enjoy a good friendship and have for years. We argue on occassion, flame a bit etc but behind it we are friends. And PGI doesnt have an agenda otherwise they'd just be putting pictures of the PGI Sharks in all the time (and THAT Ollie is the real nightmare - Ant, Duff, Joe and Pipes in EVERY edition giving it LARGE!!)

Things between the Tigers and us are cool and I hope that they stay that way. We wouldnt have cheered them on and congratulated them in the Dam if we didnt like them! On the field things get heated (just like it can do in any game) but after the game is over we all get along, as Pete and a few others have already mentioned.

Think before you type foo'! Cos thats the sort of **** that could put the internal support of Brit ball back to square one.

G, I think I am gonna need this frikkin holiday after the last two days on here.
