Real journalism???Originally posted by Intheno
they are not accusations, I am just asking if what I have been told is true, that is one of the main things people (me anyway)come to the forums for!
Dynasty want to be the big thing, and they are, so they have to take the rough with the smooth. If there was such a thing as real journalism in paintball, they would be subject to it, and probably suffer from it as much as benefit from it. The fact is that it is all one big industry boys club and nobody wants to upset anybody else.
Well I say xxxx xx!
and you'll probably edit that bit out too! Or delete the post altogether.
Anyway, the judge didn't get sacked, Steve Morris will probably call/mail Dynasty/Rodney, or the other way around, and work out a 'compromise' for the next event, by basically colluding to allow Dynasty (and not only Dynasty, lets be fair) to do whatever they want to do, amend the rules slightly etc. After all, we're all pals, right?????
am I being controversial yet?
All the time publications rely on advertising for their survival, expedient editorial will always be a consideration.Originally posted by Intheno
Robbo,
you should feel it more than anyone, the things you must know, and also know you can never write, or disclose (and no, I'm not talking about THAT!)
Basically a paintball tabloid, if you will, where people are paid to send incriminating pics and stories, you can tell the world if something stinks the house down, and not worry about the backlash from, well, anybody!
If PGI could publish this kind of detail (within normal press guidelines) you would have an absolute blast and the Pro's would be running for cover, behaving themselves more, and doing thier best to play by the rules, kinda the opposite of what happens now, except the running for cover thing, as presumably they already run for cover, or they would die, early, in every game....
anyway...
