This is seriously wrong !!

PabloChacho

Dumb as a post
Can't express the levels of anger and rage I feel about this, I didn't really want to post becuase I would have just posted some angry ramblings, but now seeing as its gotten a second news coverage on a different news station, it just seems to be another thing that's making it harder to have paintball recognised as an official sport.

In short, I'm really mad:mad: ....... I plan to start sending eamils to this site and to the news stations about what we're really about

I'm really dissapointed by this.

It's even more frustrating because there's nothing you can do about it until someone gets SERIOUSLY hurt.

It just goes to show that no matter who dumb you think people are, there's always someone dumber!

Welcome to America. You can't arrest anyone for a crime they haven't comitted yet. Same goes for protecting htem from their own idiocy.

But once the deed is done, you can sue the shorts off of them.

Unfortunately, all I can really do here is hold my breath and hope that some woman doens't get her eye blown out. I men, we can carry on all day about it too, but unless we're willing ot go find this guy and shut him down ourselves, he'll be endangering women in the name of sex.

there's a thought. Can you get 'em for endangerment?

re the Fox News broadcast today... I can only imagine this woman was extremely thick and/or misinformed and DOESN'T appreciate the real danger of being hit in the eye at 300fps... (ie that not just the eye, but probably a good chunk of the brain will also go awol) or that she was paid very well for voicing that opinion on Fox News to make the whole setup appear 'safe'. *******s the bunch of em!

While I do find what these people are doing to be a wearisome display of stupidity as well as a colossal waste of money, I do not think that it reflects on the sport of paintball any more than using a riding crop in the bedroom reflects on horse-racing. I think that you're average person sees this and thinks that the girls are desperate and the guys are emotionally disturbed but not that they are representative of an entire sport. The fact is the people who are taking part are adults and taking part voluntarily. That is their business. If these morons go out of business due to lack of customers, hooray for the human race, but if not, oh well. I don't want people telling me what I can and can't do for fun as long as it's all consentual fun and I'm not out to save other people from their own idiocy. Don't waste your emotional energy barking about how dumb these people are, everyone can see that for themselves. If they weren't such idiots, they would have never made the news in the first place. What is a larger issue here is the irresponsible journalism which took a minor operation and decided to make a major issue out of it. Did they do that because they really thought they needed to protect the girls, or because boobs and guns sell? I mean come on, we'd never heard of it until now and I follow a lot of news quite regularly. Really irresponsible journalism.
