for the nice remark there, IanC. Look, as someone (didn't note who) already pointed out, it's sorta stupid to go judging a country by one incident. If you want to slag on Americans based on this one thing (granted...it's really stupid), then you're no better than the parent who sees this news report and decided that paintball is unsuitable for their kids because of that one use of a paintgun.
HOWEVER...I agree that the fellow running this is a moron. I'm torn...on the one hand, I want the ******* sued, and his business shutdown. On the other hand, that'd probably require someone losing an eye to a paintgun, which is never good...Sigh. I'm going to write the guy an e-mail and try to be as...civil...as I can.

Watch the lead in again on the video. Don't you get the impression that the media sees Paintball as a fringe game that's only played by juveniles, instead of the worlds 3rd largest extreme sport? That always frosts my nuts.

Doesnt help at all but between Jackass,Eminem,King Of Queens,6ft Under,people losing eyes,paintball Jihad training camps,brutalizing naked women with paintball guns,and all sorts of bad press over the last few years,we seem to be moving along quite fine..The machine guns we shoot 18 balls a seconds with today is what eventually will get us into trouble if were not careful..
Yep but I also blame that on us...Screw writing the guys who shoots naked women...He's not gonna change because we think hes portraying PB in a bad light..Call the station..Flood them with emails and pictures of what its really like whether tourny or rec..Explain safety measures..Maybe if we annoy them enough they'll run a follow up showing it the way we play it..The right way..

It's amazing that there are enough crazy people out there to make this idea a financially viable buisness, as said previously it's unlikely to get paintball banned as clearly all safety rules have been thrown out the window. but unfortunetly it has been aired on a news network and many ignorant people will now believe that this is common practice. it's a shame when paintball is on the up theres always some loser helping to drag it back down. i hope the site owner does get sued but not at the expense of someone losing an eye or receiving any other injury.
i think it's also unlikely that the news station will air a story on paintball in the way we know it, purely cos it isn't particually newsworthy or in their interest. they don't care who they upset and love to sensationalize any story to get their ratings up. with proper promotion of safely run tournaments and events such as scenario games paintball can be shown for what it is- a highly addictive and safe extreme sport

Okay this has to be the worst thing that I have ever seen. It just goes to show that it is time for registration and regulation of just who can buy a paintball marker. Its idiots like this and those who do drive by balling who bring a bad name to the paintballing community as a whole. PGI should send TJ and Tyger down to the site to inflict a whole world of pain on the organiser and the tw@s who are running and filming this crap. The women should be taught a lesson as well, it it just goes to show what some people would do for money. My hoping is that one of them gets a eye shot and the place gets closed down.

Jking, have sent ****ty e mail, hell i would love to shoot on naked chicks all day. But basic safety must come first. I think what disgusts me more is the pics on the web site with the fake blood etc.
