Clueless??? And as for camo all-stars what the f?? You should know by now I'm a tourney player, not very good but still a tourney player. Hell you've even met me up at Skirmish Nottingham at the last Nexus Training day there. I saw the show and came to the conclussions that the general public do. They don't know that the auidience have googles or any form of eye protection. All they see is a group of people holding what looks like to them Guns and then for a laugh shooting celebrities. This in my eyes portrays paintball in a bad light. In the past when the 'feel the sportsman' round has featured an obscure sport [not generally known to the public] in a previous round there has been a 'Whats going on here' sort of thing. If they had shown some footage like this previously then it wouldn't have been so bad, at least then the public would know that tournement paintball is an organised sport. As it stands to the public it appears that paintball is just a way to inflict pain on others.

As for jealous, well not really and I ranted because I was concerned about the way the media sees paintball, but thats no need for a flaming.

PS Phil if thats the best flame you can come up with I would give up if I was you.
your forgeting that the vast madjority of the public probably don't care, all they saw was wossy getting it up the arse:D .
when they come to a site to see what it's all about, then we jump on them over safety
the only reason some people are consernd is because WE know better and are used to everyone round us knowing;)

The guys who played as the manc union are all good blokes and I'm confident they would not do anything that portrayed pball in a bad light. I was told about it from a guy at work today and my first thought was if people were wearing masks - as they were I see no problem with this.
The last thing the BBC wants is an accident at one of thier shows they would have made sure people were safe.

Well done lads

I will make sure I catch it on saturday and am proud to have played against you. My only regret is that my team didn't win the PA cup.

All those of you slagging these boys off for supporting a specator freindly event and as going on TV promoting our sport - what have you done to help pball progress recently??

Dude, don't take my comment as a total personal attack. If ANYONE would have made the comments I would have nailed them because it amazes me how little faith the majority of ballers have in other ballers. The decision to shoot them was a long fought issue and initially the boys flat refused due to the very fact that we knew some dudes would love to pick up on the whole safety issue the first chance they got. The BBC basically wanted us to tell them what measures they needed to go to in order to make it safe enough to do. So they did.

Notice the first close up shot of Steve Brown with his EMPTY clear hopper. Even the most negative baller should have noticed that.

The Camo Allstars bit wasn't aimed at you bro, I know you play tourney ball, it was a reference to the fact that we had tourney players on tv and NOT Camo Allstars.

The guys on stage didn't have barrel sacks because it was for effect. the guns were switched off, no air in them and definately no paint. The two dudes who did the shooting (both were pro players with over 10 years experience) came on with sacks on then covered up once they did the business.

The only reason I picked on you is because, well, you seem to be the only person who hasn't thought about it properly and just instantly jumped on the usual issues.

Same old, same old.
