although i dont have the same experience's as you, i also feel very strongly about racism like my post said aswell, and his post was outrageous. although i do have some experience of the polish racism etc and have seen what it has done to many familys as im half polish

Joe Bob your thread isn't racist the subject matter presented in the way you did allowed the avenue of misunderstanding, as Buddha3 implied when he replied to your thread. When similar subjects have appeared before, the use of a "name" if there even has to be a "name" was wrapped up in political correctness to avoid any confusion despite the title given to the people in the thread subject which was somewhat lengthened from what you would use in normal life. As the internet gives anominoty (sp?) we all have to try and avoid causing offence all the time. Think of the image your own user name could conjure up (chosen diliberately I know )...and it has been said before but you took all the comments made in the correct way with no malice intended.

Now I know you have said you are not TJ, I know you aren't but your actual identity is I belive in many ways the same as TJ and as such..well you people know what I mean, so a good idea has gone wrong..hence this thread, or were you going on a fishing expedition.

So how many are offended by the sexist posts that make regular appearances? Apparently nobody. Boys will be boys after all. I tossed two pages of that nonsense the other day. (And just so you know it wasn't because they were sexist but because they were becoming more and more sexually explicit as the thread went on.)
And what about everybody's swearing dyslexia? Apparently that's not an issue either.

I don't disagree with a bt of swearing here and there provided it isn't used repeatedly/gratiousley. It can help to show how strongly you feel about something. Swearing and rascism directed at someone in anything but a joking manner is wrong, we should use a 'three strikes your out' people get two warnings then a ban, unless they can explain themselves.

We do tend to email posters warnings rather than ban them outright...they normally get at least two strikes.
