Evolution II hoppers are no longer being produced. Parts are no longer being produced. I actually liked the geometry, and I liked the way the lid opened, but I am very happy with Halos. They are reliable, feed quickly enough not to impede a steady 15bps, and the spring cone seems to work the way it is supposed to. The plastic quality is far superior to the Egg plastic.

Wow, really? isn't that going to screw over a lot of people that bought them and will want spares to keep them going? I'm suprised by that. Then again, I'm not. I don't understand many of the decisions VL/K2 makes lately.

How about a larger capacity halo that sat back further on the gun, and had a nicer lid?... Just for all those people that miss their eggs.

Yes, VL/BE/K2 is strange and erratic. Remember that the part of the country they are from gave us Walmart, where low prices will never be compromised by high quality products.

well, on the subject of K2, I am hearing that JT has been put in new hands, with the brief to 'make us cool again'.
I've no idea whether those hands are the right ones for that kind of brief, but I guess we have all season to find out whether they are...

re loaders: Time for a 3rd player in that game. The new VL is making the Halo look like a well made product, which, in my opinion, it isn't, its just the best one out there...
