I was being sarcastic Manike. And I wasn't comparing the VLOCITY to the Halo but to the Egg. I mean compared to the egg the VLOCITY is a work of genius.... For me the choice between an egg and a Halo is a no brainer. So now that the VLOCITY is out why even consider a hopper like the egg? Its slow, its fat, its in your face???

i have an egg on my e2 nexus and it sit's perfect i have tried a halo but the balance wasn't right each to there own i say!!!

Sorry Fred, I must have read your post wrong. For me your post read to say that the VLocity has all the advantages of the Egg over the halo, such as an extra 50 balls. It also then goes on to compare the VLocity against the halo?

I find sarcasm easier to read with the addition of smiley faces.

No worries. The sarcastic point was as you higlighted in your last post.... there are no advantages with an egg besides maybe having a couple extra balls in your hopper.... but considering all its other defects its not worth it.

Re read myself and it is a little unclear. My bad.

What I meant to point out was that with the VLOCITY out on the market why use an Egg. And that the only advantage of a VLOCITY over a Halo is its weight. Other than that....

I'm definitely a Halo person.

I can sum up why I use the halo over the egg (or VLocity) in two words - rip drive.

balls get stuck, anti-jam technology doesn't really work and batteries sometimes go dead. I still use my Egg as my backup. Always reliable, except for the damn battery door.

cost? actionvillage has halos w/rip on sale for about $100 right now.
