The Halo Or The Egg?

seems to be a sudden shift in the ammount of people using eggs
and mooving on to halos?..... whats happend?...
the egg not agg enough?

so whats all the pros and cons?... all in all whitch one would you use?... the Halo or The Egg?

Its a question of speed, my Z egg is great and really reliable but Halos, Reloaders, then the Vlocity are even faster

eggs arent agg, revvys are agg

would rather use my egg because I know it will never chop, ever, ever, ever, but dont use the halo often because the detents on my angel are old and cant handle it...

Forget the egg dude. Now that the Vlocity has come out you have all the advantages from the egg (which were what you might ask??? = 50 extra balls) in a compact and logical design... Only con of the VLocity is its battery consumption. Another pro is that its lighter than the Halo.

Hybrid has introduced the suicide shells for the Halo so that is one con down for that hopper.

but the v-locity is reeealy expensive, I've just got a reloader for 50 quid posted which is cheap
& got a Z-board egg as a back up which does fine...

weight is not an issue, a few grams, what difference will that make?
smaller Profile? doesnt really matter if you keep tight

reloader or egg for me


I might get a vlocity later when they're cheaper...

My cocker ramps to 15bps and quite simply my Z board egg which should do 19bps "doesn't".
Despite what any advertising says, eggs just won't keep up if your running 15 or over, and so as most guns are running those figures people need to move over to a halo or something similar to keep the gun fed with paint.
Personally i prefer the egg and reliability has never been a problem, they are great for that, but people need faster and as the advertised figures are bollox, there's only one one direction to go.

Ps, if anyone can let me know the secret to gearing up the egg motors for better speed i'd appreciate it

No guns are not capped, it's the tournaments in which we play have capped limits, but not all of them. somewhere there must be an unlimited tournament going on, probably at your local site because marshalls there never check your guns because they trust you
My Z board egg on fresh duracell batteries will still not produce a reliable 15bps, it will probably run 12-13 all day, 15 in short bursts, but if i switch the ramping on and hammer it then it sucks !

force feed loaders such as halo / reloader / VL are much faster at "picking up" in response to fire. therefore its not just sustained high rates of fire that are important, its the ability to fire in fast burst and have your loader respond quickly and accordingly.

try both and see. its hard to explian but eggs limit you in more ways than just
"keeping up with 15bps ramping"
