It ain't all good.
True, the health effects of cannabis are next to nothing, but keep in mind that the majority of the people who smoke it, use tobacco to mix it with, and we all know what that can do. Want to keep it 'healthy'? Smoke it pure!
Since it's a state of mind altering drug (one that induces a somewhat euphoric feeling), there is the possibility of mental addiction, but one has to have a propensity for mental addictions (i.e. these people would just as easily get addicted to alcohol, or sleeping pills and painkillers. i know far too many people who suffer from the last two addictions).
But by and large, it's no worse for you than getting wasted on the booze with regularity, so why outlaw the one, and not the other is beyond me.
