Look at the top teams in each league, they enter every thing going and train the rest of the time. These players are already seriously commited to the sport. Yes it may mean extra travelling to some tournaments for them, but remember a premier league and teams within are likely to get better sponsorship deals and other benefits as they will be recognised as the countries elite.Originally posted by garycarrot
The problem is always going to be the cost, and time for each player.
At the moment we play in 1 tourny and one practice a month, and this takes up 2 days of my life, and costs up to £100 per month.
If we go and have a overnighter its more.
I dont know about everyone else, but my domestic situation means i can not spare much more time or cash!!
The "local" events, can take us up to 3hrs to get there, then we play all day and have to return home.
How many teams that play in the Series2003 and M/M play in the Millenium events? And could anyone afford to play Xball?
I agree with a National Leauge, with north, midland and south legs. Feeding into a end of season final.
I dont see how you can make the "premier" leauge thing work, as that means more time and cost to each player.
