Just a thought.....
Thats what I was suggesting in my reply, sorry if it wasnt clear.... the only people that would have to travel, potentially, would be the top level pro teams and potentially that could be alternated between tourneys anyway..... so play South one month, mids the next and north the following one.... maybe even have them playing Xball ;) :D

anyway thats something for the people organising to work out.... the main thing would be to ensure that the rules, formats, and venues and quality are standard across all the respective leagues....

I personally beleive, as Dark Warrior appears to, that the UKPSF should be invloved in helping set this up. If it did happen it can only do good things for the sport....

The other thing to think about, in this format the cream would truly rise to the top....

Lets try and get all the traditionally rival organisations together, sit down around a table, and try and agree a framework for a UK league
Would that be with or without choccie biccys on the table?:D

This has a few great advantages:

1) English (and maybe scotts Welsh tht sort too) playing X-ball, that will help our Nation's cup hopes!

2) Only one team need travel at any one time. Play X-Ball as an exhibition match at each tournament.

3) We have a traditional league, with a table etc

As for sponsorship concentration, sponsors sponsor for representation, if teams are not playing with everyone else how are the promoters going to get representation. IMHO without mass media support we won't see sponsorship vanish from the lower ranks. If we do then expect big sponsors to vanish faster than a speeding paintball...

I think you can forget X-Ball in the UK for a while. How many teams could afford the entrance fees required that organisers would have to demand due to licensing?

One or two? Maybe!

Maybe I'm being short sighted, but if anyone can answer that in a positive light I'll hapilly stand corrected.
