all - The fact that I like football, am generally nice to people, am well informed, use the word Naff, and am able to poke friendly fun at Americans from time to time does not automatically make me British, a girl, gay or 'older' (that last one hurts by the way)

Simon, your quest for a likeminded brit-in-the-US soul-mate working in the industry smacks of desperation and loneliness, suggest you load up on marmite and HP sauce asap, and take a trip to a strip-club/whorehouse at the earliest opportunity

Steve - your signature is gay

Shamu - I am honoured by your signature, but Mrs Robbo? Adam Beard? I mean seriously....

Gyro - Chuck does not have snazzy clothes! Lets get that straight right now.

I prefer to remain your 'mysterious provider of reason and perspective', which is the role I laid down for myself when I set out to be a super-mod, back in the day... I appreciate all your support in this, and I promise to feed you bits of insider knowledge without prejudice or bias, in order for you to form your own opinions of what is really happening to the game we all love to discuss

Idea's for new posts.

wtf happenned to Dynasty?
Is it thier Choppers, I mean Shockers?

see, totally unbiased....

Reason? Perspective? What are these things of which you speak? I'm an ignorance is bliss kinda guy myself. I'll stick with narrow minded belligerence if you don't mind. As for the secret identity, football loving, festive, fashionista with impecable spelling and grammar? Sounds Swedish to me. Better go hide my girlfriend (I mean deflate and put back under the bed)

anyone want to play?
Let's see...

AfterShock and Assissins/Ironmen are already in. For the other teams:

Trauma - likely
Strange - likely
NY - possible
Philly - not likely
Miami - not likely
LA - not likely
Legacy - not likely

To modify Whale's list slightly. Mowtown is unlikely for Denver and LA is a maybe--so I've heard. The real problem facing NXL teams is having NPPL legal guns to play with (not that I'm implying, inferring or suggesting anything at all.)

But since intheno wanted to broaden the topic here perhaps somebody knows if the new 4 Fly's beautiful and comprehensive instruction manual includes detailed instructions on how to make the gun ramp or is that a must read between the lines sort'a dealio?

Here's an idea--maybe we could make cheater board functions that work like video games. You know, you have to reach various goals or levels of play before you can unlock the assorted powerful cheats. That way, players are motivated to work on their reflexes and gun skillz.

I agree with that list, but that's why I picked the Americans and Effect...go for the least likely. Also, I heard that Legacy wasn't entering because Dye didn't want their teams to, so I kind of extended that to the Ironmen.

I'd like to see Trauma in there.

I bet that it would be a month before someone released a program to ffol the board into thinking that you'd achieved whatever feat was required to unlock the (I am sure way helpful) firing modes.

Aren't there already nine hundred other threads dealing with the gun cheat issue? As for the NXL'ers in D-town, i think it will be interesting to see how the much hyped "disparity" between the leagues stacks up. All the NXL cronies like to think that because only good teams play the NXL that the level of play and competition is higher. Come on, Legacy? THey didn't even finish in the top 5 of D.1 last year. Wheres the competition? Besides, the NPPL teams are playing to win every event. The motivation to win every single game is higher because there's fat wads of cash on the line. If an NXL team loses what's the consequence; whats the motivating factor? Will they be able to get hyped up for Denver? After 'Lanche whupped up on Infamous that whole disparity theory was sort of shot down, but then again Inf. did beat up on Dynasty a couple of times. So who knows? I guess we'll all find out soon, I, however, am about to drop a load in my drawers. I'm so excited.

I wouldn't say that the NXL teams (not Legacy and the new Effect, the real NXL teams) are far and away better than the NPPL teams, but with the NPPL hosting the NXL heavyweights, there are a lot more teams with a shot at the top.

Naughty Dogs, Dynasty, Avalanche, and Arsenal are all first rate teams. Adding Infamous, Bob Long's Ironmen, and Aftershock just means more high level competition.
