1--Naw, I'm pretty sure it was the bald bad guy who kidnapped Princess Buttercup in The Princess Bride.
2--you can only succeed when you surrender for failure resides within your own fears and doubts and desires. So only in surrendering the self do you strip away the unwanted and unecessary that keeps you from succeeding.
