Oh yes. I am a great fan of Schwerpunkt tactics. Why shoot a guy with one gun, if you can have 5 guns pointing at his head? :D

Dammit! I've been suckered in as well!
You're one of us now! :p

Guderian was a good theorist but people underestimate the amount he owed to BH Liddell Hart and JFC Fuller in developing his ideas on armoured warfare

Probably the greatest of the ignored tank gurus was Tukachevsky who was the leading proponent of manouever warfare in the 1930's USSR. Unfortunately he was too good at his job so Stalin purged him!

Still no Jomini fans yet then?

Oh, I agree completely with that. It's just that ol' Heinzie was given the toys to put the whole thing into practice, whereas people just pointed at Liddell Hart and Fuller, and said: "don't mind them, they're special..." :D
Did you know that the term Blitzkrieg was not invented by the Germans?

This really is my face...
Sun Tzu doesn't like me much!!

"That the impact of your army may be like a grindstone dashed against an egg - this is effected by science of weak points and strong". Again when engaging the opposition all attacks must be coordinated so that firing will occur simultaneously from your team. This will force the enemy into cover, in theory simultaneously also, allowing the team to push, advance, mug, or just simply rape the entire team from under them. So is the 4th lesson of the code of energy Chapter V.

Let's go ahead and get to the meat of matters: I believe in a total "blitzkreig" from go-go-go to flag hang. The opposing team won't even know what hit them. This, of course, requires very good field reading with a lot of time spent and a vast amount of determination. We're going to see more of this in the near future.

You see, people come round in the end.... I refer you ALL once again to my earlier post re Tolkien, of 'Charge em and they'll scatter'.

Actually, Blitzkrieg in it's original form depended on just 'regular' means to force a break in the enemy's frontline, which would then be exploited by mobile forces.
Translate this to paintball, and you get your fat backplayers running forward on the break, in order to shoot some fools, while the frontguys just hang back a bit. When the backplayers have shot out a few people, the frontplayers would then rush forward, pushing into the other teams backfield.

That'd be weird...

The no-mind is manifest in the role of the front player...

When I'm told to bump by the backer behind me, I bump. When he says "do 'im!" I do. When no one is shooting to keep me in my bunker, I move. These things require almost no thought... only to remember not to think about it. Miyamoto also says "stand on the balls of your feet." This is good advice.

Although that running up the path that the opposing guy is running down... that is clever.
