BORING
Just for Kyle. I'm changing the poll question--Which teams on the list have no chance, no how of coming within sniffing distance of victory. I vote Shockwave. :p

EDIT ADDED: Thanks, Kyle. And I would have been kinder if I had noticed your shooty shooty sig and ava pic before posting. I always try to encourage the differently-abled, the mentally challenged and/or the physically handicapped and as you're working the trifecta, I apologise. :) TFP

The Entourage thing is entirely unfair, but within the rules. They will likely bump out a European team too, prolly Nexus or a TonTon team (they are 16th and 17th), maybe even Joy Division...
So make sure you give them a frosty reception in Malaga, as they are aiming to bump the Euro's out of the NPPL Pro bracket, using players that have already secured thier slot in first place and are now playing for a totally different team. Lets not mince our words, it will be no more outrageous if the entire Dynasty roster turned up and played as the London Tigers.

Gotta love those trust-fund kids now huh? This si nothing that the old Iron men or AA's didn't used to do back in the day, but it is disappointing that they can't stop it from happening, unfortunately you can't change the rules at the end of the season....

As a side note, are there any french teams reffing in Malaga? Or UK teams?
If there are, then my prediction is as follows

Arsenal
Avalanche
XSV
Dynasty (why pretend)

Unlike last year, where Dynasty were shown a lot of love in Europe, I think they mat find some 50/50 decisions going against them. They will also have trouble with thier guns, they don't seem to be able to get them under control, and the Euro-chrono guys will be all over them (so long as Steve Morris doesn't decide to let all thier cheater bouncing guns go unpunished again....)

Controversial? - maybe. True? - certainly!

OK, I think you need to back up that remark.

We might let cheater guns go unpunished (only when and if we can't prove anything) but not bouncing guns.

Not to overly defend Dynasty but I would say that if anyone had legal guns at our events since Bitburg I would say it was them (although Ollie had a gun that went berserk while guesting in Norway and got suspended for a game).

I can't be everywhere at once but I never saw a Dynasty gun since Bitburg that even began to arouse my suspicion.

Again, Dr No, back up your statement or retract it. Unless you're joking of course.

I was refering to Bitburg Steve. The 'since bitburg' defence does not work. They got the points for that event, and therefore do not need the points from Malaga, hence the entry of Entourage at this event to get series points that knock out another team.

Ok so I think that backs up my statement....

I don’t think so.

You were present in the discussions here after Bitburg. We caught illegal pro guns during that tournament. In one case the gun was shooting full auto during the game; in the other (Dynasty) a gun seemed to be ramping. We suspended the player and the game was forfeited in the first instance and in Dynasty’s case only the game was forfeited because we felt that the violation was much less severe. This was in accordance with the rules we used at that time. (You can read my explanation in the PGI article about this tournament.)

After Bitburg we amended the rules to give an automatic suspension in addition to the forfeit when an illegal gun is caught during game time.

Bitburg was the first tournament of the season and the first with me as ref manager. I was new to the job, the pro reffing program was new, we had new pro head refs and the gun problem had mushroomed during the off season. Of course we were going to have teething problems and we obviously learned a lot and have since continued to improve our procedures.

If you or anyone else can tell me how we could do it any better without the proper testing instruments then I’m all ears. I think any observer would say that there has been no lack of effort on my/our part.

In case you didn’t notice you’re starting to chap my ass. Blaming me for some team not making the cut! Get real!

Your remark borders on slander and if you’re the gentleman I think you are then you should retract it because it is totally false and without ground.

I recall from the times we discussed this here earlier that you challenged me to do the right thing and wrote, “...make us proud, Steve”. I’ve kept that in my head this whole season.

Another thing is that it would be a big help if the gun manufacturers would quit releasing products that bounce as soon as you look at them.

Steve

nobody is saying it is against the rules, you bolshy Dane you,
In fact the opposite is true. Are you therefore agreeing with the previous posts, or now that you know you are essentially agreeing, would you like to change your mind and disagree?

The only difference is that you seem to think it is ethically OK, and that there is, in fact, nothing wrong with the existing rules.
In that we disagree (should please you)

Dynasty's case is not the same as the TonTon. They ghave secured a place in the league, and are now using those same players to get another spot. Look past your unfaltering loyalty to your own sponsors and put yourself in the shoes of Tom Cole, Robbo, Ron Kilbourne, Magued.

Your opinion would no doubt be different if your own team were currently 17th, in fact I would bet that you would be one of the more vocal protestors....
