now you have the problem of proving it was them.
it wont do any good for the comapnied reputation as alot of business for site owners comes from people revisiting sites,or recommending sites for birthdays, hen nights, congratulations presents etc.

youll also face some kind of intimidation at one point or another.

you just wont have happy customers!!
althought it would just be a small majority.

I couldnt think of anything more enjoyable than watching 160 punters smash 160 Ions to bits over the period of a day but thats just a personal thing :D

What technology has been developing? Software? That is the only thing I can think of that is really all that important in staying competitive.

I concede that break beams are worth laying down money for. Anti-chop eyes have been available for a few years, and can be retrofit to most electronic guns, what are we buying this year that is so revolutionary? The only thing I have had to do was get ready to ramp. OK, done. I am set until the rules change or someone actually improves the guns in a real way.

I have been trying to figure out why I need to buy a new gun this year, aside from habit. Can anyone tell me what is new and needed?

John, you don't have to like the Ion but your constant SP-bashing is frankly a little boring. I don't like Angels much (why the hell do you need a TV screen on your gun again?), but I have the common courtesy to keep quiet on the subject.

Ions are simple to maintain, as rugged as any other electro out there, perform as good as any high-end gun and are cheap as chips. :)

Having worked and run a rec site myself, I just cant imagine using Ions.

We spent extra money on Tippmans when you could get guns that shot quicker for half the price(spyder clones). The reason we chose tippmans was because the only maintinence the tippmann requires is a pressure washer and a squirt of oil.

Customers drop their guns on the floor, in puddles. They put paint in their hopper that is so old its the size of a tennis ball. At the end of the day the guns are filled with dirt twigs and small insects.

The tippman can take that punishment, the ion cant... simple as.

Im sure the Ion is quite good as a tourney gun, but the requirements at a rec site are very different...

99% of people want a marker with Antichop eyes, yes you can retro fit markers, but "on the whole" its cheaper to buy a 2nd hand one that has eyes.

Ramping software has become a bigger "must have" for new buyers, no matter if their local league permits ramping or not.

In the UK, Egos, are this weeks favourite so other markers are plummeting in value as people want the newest coolest markers that the top teams use. The people who normally buy, for example, timmys want Egos so they aren't buying. Prices continue to fall until someone says, "hell that timmy is £300" and buys it.

With the exception of many of the people on the boards here, your average paintballer is a sheep and follows the flock either at a national level or at a local level.

wonder how long before someone posts sheep noises. :D

from the views posted on this board, the answer seems very simple to me and one that has been mentioned before.

IF IT AINT BROKE,DONT FIX IT!!

fair enough to those people that need to sell due to sponsorships, leaving the sport or needing the cash those people obviously need to sell but if everyone wasnt so bothered about what the latest gat is then we wouldnt have this problem.

i mean all these gats say they can fire at 20+bps,well when do you ever have the chance to to that in a game other than off the break???

those marker tarts that just sell and buy sell and buy, well thats a consiquence they are going to have to deal with??

no??
