I will probaly be selling things soon and im getting worried by he prices that things are selling for, its almost not lookin worth it. Please will people stop selling for such prices, because afterwrds you complain.

If you look at a lot of the markers selling they start out at a lot higher prices.

Some people then decide if the marker they want is cheaper , maybe they can afford to sell their marker for cheaper?

Its the law of supply and demand. Price goes down until someone buys or you take off the market.

Not long ago you would pay, best part of £600 for an Alias based timmy. Now you can't give them away.

Since Ion's have come out its killed the sale of 2nd hand markers and other markers in the buyers eyes just don't seem as cool.

Egos = Cool
Proto = cool

Angels = Not so cool

Cockers = throw them away as you will lose money once its posted.

Thats not to say that these markers aren't great, its just that they have fallen out of favour.

Thats not my opinion but its what the buying public think.

Also as technology develops , older markers also devalue quicker. Try selling any marker without breakbeam eyes?

or if you just keep hold of your marker for 100 years, get some old chain and beat it a little, give it a bit of antiquing, you may b onto a sure seller:D

i know what you mean sumo, and i am getin mmad at prices, trying to sell me 05 speed right now and am having to drop the price to 350, its such a anoyance, but its the way things go in this world,

i mean i had to sell my beloved poweranger toys at the boot sale the other day, i only got 2p:D

Part of the problem is that a lot of peeps get markers on the cheap either from abroad or on cushy sponsorship. This, while excelent for buyers wanting to get great markers cheap is an absolute bummer for anyone wanting to sell toys that they bought for full whack.

This is why I've never changed my 04 speed - I just brought it up to date (and even more so when John C gets his finger out ;)).

Simple answer is - why sell something that works? Just upgrade it - works out a lot cheaper - and keeps you from getting mad and posting threads like this one ;)

Ouch !!

Speeds should be ready early next week Andy mate. :)

I agree entirely with what you say though, ive shot practically every gun you can get and none of them offer anything over my trusty Ir3 (except hype), so why waste my money...

It's totaly a buyers market.

I really want a Nexus Ego but I wouldnt be able to afford the full Planet price of one when I'll be getting such a small amount for flogging my Joy. I upgraded my Joy with an Evolve kit and I really love how it shoots and feels so the incentive to drop such a large amount on a brand new toy is very limited.
